This is SO true! It's tempting to work through my lunch to try to get more done, but by mid-afternoon, I am almost asleep and I end up not getting anything done. If I make an effort to walk or go to my yoga class at lunch, I feel so much better.

It's also easy to give in to time crunch or pressure from family members:wink::smile: and make food choices that aren't healthy...fast food, fried things, processed stuff. But taking a little extra time to make a salad and a fresh vegetable enables me to be more satisfied after dinner and stay away from the Coke and the ice cream.

I feel like my 30-lb. weight gain is a direct result of trying to make other peoples' lives easier instead of doing what's best for me. I'm trying to learn how to put myself first.
