Any tips for increasing activity at work?

I use a pedometer in conjunction with MFP, and have been horrified to discover how little I walk despite being on my feet most of the day. Anyone have any tips for increasing activity while at work?
I am lucky enough to work in a two-story practice, so I've started using the bathroom on the other floor when I have a free minute. I also do more checking on my own patients in the hospitalized area rather than depending on tech reports by phone or radio.
I have started pacing while reading articles. My staff finds this incredibly amusing.
We are looking at switching to a computer system that will allow us to use Dragon to dictate notes, etc. I don't need this from a technology standpoint, but it might be nice if it could give me more time to pace.
Because of the necessity to disappear to actually get a lunch, I've started trying to eat in the hidden break room and then sneak out the side door for a walk.
Any other tips?

Get outside at lunch time. I am TERRIBLE at this, but it's important.0

For more reasons that just exercise. If you don't leave the building, you don't get lunch. I don't care how good your front staff is, someone will need you badly enough to track you down in the bathroom if you don't leave. You should know this better than anyone as an owner.
I am trying to get better about this. Our hospital isn't too far from the river and has easy access to a medium-sized park and a couple greenways, so walking at lunch is something I am trying to make a routine. I need to get better about packing my lunch for this to actually happen, though. I did well yesterday and then today we had a tech meeting where I ate and then I was able to walk for almost my full hour. Thank goodness my next appointment was half an hour late, though. I looked like I had just run a marathon instead of walked three miles. :sad:0
