Please feel free to share your goals and challenges this month.
I have found myself far behind where I want to be with weight loss. I know it took 2 years of my college, two babies, and a bunch of banana splits to get here but I am not hitting my goals. My goal was to loose 1lb a week and I was doing well until I had an out patient surgery and then got plantars fasciitis right after. I have lost one pound since January. I am going stop with the excuses and kick some butt, hurting foot and all. In May I plan to loose 2 pounds a week. I have 4 kids living at home making it challenging. I am tried most days due to a lack of sleep because I have a toddler who has just started with nightmares and a teething 8 month old. Between all that I have little time to nap because I bus my teen and preteen around to where they need to go. I found myself stressed this week as I started to think if all my challenges. I have decided I am going to take it one day at a time and try not to focus on what I need to accomplish long-term but how I can meet my goals short term.

I'm going for 1 pound a week this month. I feel your pain on the lack of sleep issue. I only have 2 kids, but they are 2.5 and 1 (B-day was last week) and keep me on my toes. The 2.5 year old has been doing the night terror thing, so that's fun, and the one year old thinks that 4 am is a great time to get up. Sort term goals are getting me thorugh. Good luck!0

My goals for May is to lose a total of 10 lbs but I will be happy if I only lose 8 lbs. This month I should also get into the overweight bmi range...YAY for that.
I will also finish up the 30 day shred this month and also finish the c25k program~ So my fitness goal for the month is to start the shred over with heavier weights and to keep working towards being able to get to the 5k mark ( right now I can only get in about 2.5 miles).
I also have 3 kids, a 2 yr old that still doesn't sleep through the night, a 9 yr old, and a 16 yr old. Also part time my S.O kids are here which adds 2 more to the mix and they are 10 & 12. Always on the go here lol. Kids can sometimes be a good help with exercise. My 2 yr likes to exercise with me (she really just jumps around the room lol) and my 9 & 16 yr old like to go jogging with me.
Good Luck to you both with your May goals!0 -
My goals this month are to lose 1.5 pounds a week. That's actually my goal for the rest of my weight loss! My biggest goal is to make sure I work out 4 times a week. No pain no muscle tone!0

How are you all doing with your goals and challenges? I'm down 4.5 pounds this month so I made my one pound per week. My son has been sleeping better this month, so I think that has been helping.0

I had to postpone some of my workout goals over an unusal ankle injury, but I've lost 5 pounds this month! Over a pound a week. I think I did alright. I've been averaging 1.5 pounds a week, it just looks like less since I started on May 10th.0
