Yay, TGIF!!! I was bad again and snoozed the alarm instead of getting up early to do my Ripped in 30. I'll have a date with Jillian at lunch today. Dangit! : )
I am excited because we are thinking of buying a new car. I know that is totally not about MFP, but I am excited! And it is not new, but new to me! : ) I will use all my nervous energy about a car payment to do some cardio today! ha ha

    Happy Friday everyone!! :)

I got my workout in!! The scale has been bugging me these past two weeks by bouncing around the same frigging numbers. So, yesterday I wore a pair of jeans that I purchased two weeks ago expecting to "shrink" into, but when I got home after buying them I could comfortably wear them with no muffin top  Anyway, yesterday, they were falling off me! So, I cheated last night and took some measurements, and I'm happy to report I've lost 3 3/8" from my hips alone!! Stupid scales, good thing we all know not to judge our success by it! I just don't know how I'm going to keep a decent wardrobe

what a loss on the hips!!! my hips are holding out LOL. they don't lie AND they dont shrink but oh well!!

i felt super strong during my shred last night. i pretty much modified it to be over-all *kitten* kicking! i like level 2 the best, but i incorporated moves from L3 (supermans!), did whatever cardio i could with weights, upped my weights to 8lbers and did a dumbell clean with a 25lb weight. OUCH! felt awesome though. im gearing myself up to start NROL4W on June 1

Great job! It's funny how we turn/learn to embrace and enjoy the pain lol. I want to start NROL4W or Stronglifts 5x5, I need to buckle down. Are you going to a gym?

And thanks ladies! I was very happy with myself :)) I can't remember ever being so proud of myself. I love Jillian lol.

i went back and forth on stronglifts vs. nrol4w for a while and finally settled on NR's bc 1) the work outs aren't the same for eternity and its more geared to women vs. the stronglifts site which is sausage central LOL. i wanted to do it at home and i think i could manage for at least stage one BUT a nearby gyn does a "60 days for $60" special i might try instead so i have access to lots of weights and that should take me thru stage 1. i just adore working out at home though :(

Alot of great posts this morning! I was not feeling Jillian at 5:30 today so I did the treadmill for 30 minutes. Guess I'll see her Sat morning! I'm going to try day 2 of C25K after work today. Happy Friday to all!

I have missed 2 days of Juillian as I have been away at a conference, but back in there like a ferret up a drainpipe tonight! I am on the home run now and I WILL finish the final 5 days of Level 3 in the next week or so.

I am away again on Sunday for 6 days at another conference followed by a 2 day congress where I am giving a couple of lectures, but the DVD is coming with me and I will play in on my laptop and make sure I finish. I was delighted that folks I haven't seen for a while all commented on how much slimmer I look

I have really missed the last couple of days. The scales are depressing, but jeans are even looser - many now need a belt! I am resisting another measure until I have finished Level 3, but I did measured about half way through Level 2 and it was looking good then and I have definitely lost some more since!

C'mon sisters - we are really doing it for ourselves

Well, when it's put that way, it makes sense to pick NROL4W! I don't have a gym nearby, so I need to choose my program and then make sure I have all the equipment I need at home. I don't mind though, because I'd rather work out at home anyday. I'm loving the resistance training with Jillian, and want to kick it up a few notches.

I did my second to last weight training day yesterday! So happy because it sucked. It was too hot in the gym and I felt nauseated halfway through the workout. The last weight training day is today, then I'm going to do JM videos for the rest of our 30 days. Great job, everyone!

Awesome! Those are really great successes. I know it always makes me feel good to have other people notice and for jeans to fit better. :)

Great work, everyone. I'm so glad you all are doing so well. :)
