This week may be hard for me because I'm feeling sick right now and I'm traveling to Dallas Friday - Monday. Trying to be smart, I've looked into the hotel gym, and I have to pay $16/day to use it. UGH! But....I'm going to use it. Here's my PLAN...
Today: Swim AM (did it but it was bad due to feeling sick), Bike PM (agian, I'll see how I'm feeling and if it stops raining)
Tuesday: AM - Eliptical and weights PM- Bike/run
Wednesday: AM Swim, PM Longer run
Thursday: AM Short swim & weights, PM Bike/Run
Friday: AM Swim (probably no PM due to traveling)
Saturday: AM Swim & Run
Sunday: AM Swim, run, & stationary bike at hotel0 -
Hope you feel better vtate, good dedication fitting in your workouts while on the road!
Today: 5 mile run & abs
Tuesday: AM long swim
Wednesday: PM easy 15 mi bike ride
Thursday: Easy 3 mile run
Friday: Rest day & stretching
Saturday: Half Marathon Race
Sunday: Rest day & stretching/walking0 -
Lots of great goals planned by all this week. bstamps good luck with your race this weekend. I am taking it easy this week probably some walking, swimming weights and core. My sprint tri is this Sun. Had an awesome ride yesterday...despite ice and stretching (twice), my hips continue to stay tight and cause nagging back pain for a couple of days after riding. I know I could probably do more this week, but want to be fresh for Sun.
BTW don't ever schedule a community CPR class on the Saturday before a sprint tri when you have to load and unload the equipment yourself. I have to unload it all to make room for my race gear
edited for typo (why can't I ever see them until AFTER I post )0 -
Good luck both of you on your races this weekend!!! I LOVE race weekends!!
My plan for the week:
Monday - Swim AM, CrossFit PM
Tuesday - Torture session... oops I mean training session... with my new swim coach (He is awesome BTW!!)
Wednesday - Run AM, CrossFit PM
Thursday - Swim AM
Friday - Swim AM, Brick PM
Saturday - Going Hiking :-)
Sunday - Possible Bike AM, CrossFit
Hopefully I got my bike problem solved. I felt like the dumbest person in the world because I got a new air pump (hose on the previous one split in half...) and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get the adapter on it to work with the presta valves on my road bike! I spend half an hour trying and proceeded to let all the air out of my tire in the process. Got a different pump, taking the cheapy one back, and if this doesn't work the bike is going with me to figure out what is going wrong!0 -
