I'm on the body by vi 90 day challenge and no matter what I eat, I always go over the MFP protein goal. I don't want to live on shakes and vegetables- does anyone know how much more I should work out in order to cancel out the extra protin consumption? I'm at about 30min a day right now.

How much is extra? I generally try to consume at minimum 1g of protein per lb of my weight. You can also adjust your protein intake and your other macro nutrient goals manually as well.
  • Really? How? ... and I also realized today that I was using Soy Milk instead of Almond Milk. Oops.
Once I switch to the correct in gredient, I won't have to work out for an hour and a half a day :)

To change your Protein percentages, (or any of your goals) go to MY HOME> Goals> Change goals> Custom

Going over with protein is fine. This site has a very low protein goal as a default. Think of your protein as a Minimum, you would be hard-pressed to have more than your body could handle, and unless it is all you eat, you probably can't even reach "too much" on a regular calorie diet.

Here is a link to the above:

  • Thanks! I found a protein calculator online and according to that, I should be consuming about twice was MFP tell me.
