Thoughts for next week

Hey Folks,
I wanted to throw out a couple of ideas to out band of merry burners:
This group is all about support and motivation, not competition.
It occurred to me that having a group goal, like burning 4000 calories in a week, might exclude someone who wants to burn 6000 in a week, or 250. So, I'm suggesting we state our personal goal for the week. Only you know what you can do, and how much you should push yourself.
I'd also like to add things that measure our efforts, and goals in other ways. How can we be supportive, and even push each other, to greater success?
Miles exercised
Water consumed
Nutritional goals (more protein, less carbs, more potassium)
More/less sleep
More/less time on MFP
Lastly, I would like to know, and share, more of the experience of the calories we are burning. What I mean is: how did your workout go? What did you do, was is 'one of those' workouts. Most importantly, how are you pushing yourself. How do you keep your muscles confused, and your mind engaged?
Also, if you have friends that you think would benefit from this group, please invite them.
Anyone else want to be a moderator?
Ok, that's it.
I'll post another thread on Sunday night for the coming week, or if you're ready, start one yourself.
Cheers!

I think I can burn 3000 calories a week. That is how many MFP says I burn, but it might actually be less.... Most of my cardio is done on the stationary bike. I have one dumbell to confuse my muscles. My muscles also get confused when I clean the floor with some wet napkins from the store.
It sounds like a good idea to set goals as a team. I need support eating healthy and getting on my bike every day.
Thanks for your support.0 -
My wife and I are off work this week. Among other things we will be heading out of town for a couple of nights. I want to continue to workout and burn at least 500 cals a day, make good food choices and be down a pound by Saturday.. Oh and also, not spend too much shopping in the States! :-)0

I think it is a great idea for the personal goal as opposed to the group goal.0
