May Horse Challenge WEEK 4

Okay... i totally missed week 3!!
Sorry eveyone but I was ... well no excuses just horsing around actually!
May 19 th was the Thistle Ridge Skill builders at my farm in Ontario Canada. We host a show each year and May 19th was my show! Beginners, Novice horse/rider and advanced local riders participated in our Skill builders Show Clinic http://www.thistleridgestables.com

What are you doing with yourhorse this week?

This week I will -
- ride 4 times - already 2 time so so far hacking and a bit of dressage training.
- start D and K-leigh
- look at new horse for my sisters breeding farm

Anyway DH started working with Tawny the 2 yo every day. I groomed and bathed the pony last night as it is sooo hot!

Got a lesson today at 2 but knee still dodgy and its going to be sweltering so not sure how much wel achieve!

Ride planned for sunday and farrier tuesday so any further rides will have to be after that.

Billy is still lame we think - vet popped out last night for a quick look so he may or may not be excersised next week.
Going to start leading the pony Sparky up the road to get him fitter.

Had planned to organise some more jumping training but thats not going to happen as hes lame...

Looking forward to riding the following week with all the jubilee bunting flapping about - should prove interesting lol x

Been away this week, so Mum has been on horse duty..... The rain has finally stopped and the boys are resplendant in fly rugs and masks...

Edward looks like he's auditioning for The Fly remake....
