Haha!
I went to college in a very small town. Life there, and men there, are sooo much different from the people that I grew up with. There was a lot of cultural things that were different between the two sets of people. So I kind of understand it.0 -
"FarmersOnly is not accessible from outside the US and Canada."
Yes. Really.
Anyway, if it is what I think, they created 2 dating websites in France, one for people who vote left and one for people who vote right. Really?!0 -

i LOVE farmers!!!! i live in a rural area. my town has 6000 people which for my area is BIG! we have the grocery stores, the high schools, the banks, gas stations, traffic lights, etc.
what i love about my town is that there are mansions built next to farms with cows! it cracks me up! i have crushes on two of the guys that work at southern states.
the best date i have been on period is where i learned how to drive a john deer tractor, how to uproot and push over trees, and shoot a .22!!!! he had horses that i wanted to ride so so so bad, but they were not rideable :-( he wore blue jeans cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, LOVED it! however, he had a very high pitched voice, was entirely way too good at interior decorating, and I'm pretty sure...... he was gay.0 -
No farmer hating allowed.

I saw the commercial for this a couple of weeks ago. It was super cheesy, but I grew up on a cattle ranch in rural East Texas, so I get it. It is a different lifestyle, and we tend to have different values. It's often just easier to date someone from a similar background.0

Do you know how many dating sites there are for GEEKS, or High IQs, or any other specific variety of folks? Why shouldn't the farmers have one, too? This is the third or fourth time I've presented with this conundrum, and I really don't get it.

This is my experience of french woman. Cant wait to get back there in September!0 -
I LOVE me a farmboy... errr man. They have a tendency to hold that southern hospitality. They are sweet, say yessir and yes ma'am, hold doors, and are so respectable. Any farmers out there, hit me up!0

Living on a farm is totally different then living in a small town or even a city. It takes a special kind of person to want to be able to do that. So I don't find anything unusual or crazy about this.
Living on a farm can be very isolating and a woman that is very social would not be able to handle the change. Not to mention the hard labor and the getting up early going to bed early.
I grew up in the country and most my friends lived on farms so I understand the need for the website.0 -
My personal favorite is richmen.com :laugh:0

Sorry, but nothing can top whatsyourprice.com
I haven't looked at it, it could be totally legit, but I hear it advertised on the radio and can't help but think that somehow somebody just legalized prostitution.
I totally get the farmersonly.com though, like others have said it's a big cultural difference. But I'm sure it's just a gimmick and theres plenty of morons on there just like anything else.0 -
I live in PA in Lancaster... surrounded by farms... so this doesn't surprise me at all that they have a site like this. Farmers work hard so I would imagine they want someone is who willing to share in that particular lifestyle.0

Is there a suburbancakeeaters.com..... I feel like a man without a site :sick:0

I heard about it last night on a news report, apparently it is quite legit. And sketchy.0 -

In Lancaster, PA there is probably a 30% chance they don't use electricity. Amish country.0 -
Out where I live it is 20 minutes to town and the one grocery store,45-60 minutes to the nearest small city.
The dating pool is pretty small so a site like that is really more of a way for people out in the sticks, farmers or not,to meet people with a similar rural background.0 -
I think it makes sense. If it brings compatible people together, why not?0

$5 says this guy is on there,0
