Do I keep doing this to myself? We have had this discussion multiple times on here but I still don't understand poofing. I started talking to Dan (the one who was supposed to stay the night but dipped instead) again earlier this week. We texted nonstop pretty much and then after 530 yesterday, nothing. He just stopped completely. No response to texts or email.
I hate that. Granted something important could have happened but I doubt it. I'm thinking no more chances with this one.

You might not understand why...but IMO that's really not important. What IS important is what is. And what is is that he's not treating you like someone he's truly interested in.

I don't know about letting him go... but I certainly wouldn't emotionally invest. Do your own thing. If he takes notice, then it's on. If not... well you had better things to do anyway.0

I really think men aren't OCD texters like some women. They will get bored of it. See it as pointless. Just stop participating. Do something more constructive with their time.
Dont worry about it. It's only a day........the guy blows hot and cold. It's maybe not what you're looking for but you could also be coming across as a bit needy to want constant texts?

Please don`t expect anybody to be constantly texting/calling/emailing,everyone has periods where they just don`t have anything to say or need a break.
Sure,maybe he got tired of the whole thing,or found another friend etc,no way I can know but until proven the case don`t torture yourself over it or get crazy acting as far as sending him messages.0 -
Well, you gave him the second chance because you liked him. Maybe he dropped his phone in the toilet .. or put it on the top of his car and drove off with it on top.
However .. barring some logical explanation ..I would agree .. he should get no more chances with you pretty lady!0 -

I was thinking the other day about how often I talked to my boyfriends before texting.. granted I was in high school, but it wasn't nonstop anything. It was a phone call some nights a week.

ETA: Even after I was in high school, though, when texting wasn't ever unlimited, I didn't text that often. Remember that? Had to pay like $20/month for 1000 text messages. PFFT!0 -
I'm not an obsessive texter. I would much rather talk on the phone. I don't think I am over thinking the situation. He was the massive texter. For example, if I didn't respond quickly he would send 2 or so more texts asking if I was there or busy. That is what is odd. I told him I was going to the gym and he continued texting me while I was there. I didn't respond until I was finished running and then nothing.0
