Burning calories around the house

Hi ladies

I am so busy planning both a wedding and cross-country move that some days I lack the motivation to change into gym clothes and leave the house. I would love to hear what you ladies do around the house to burn a few extra calories. I run up and down my stairs, bake/cook, do garden work and run around with the dog. Does anyone have anything else that they do at home? Besides dumbbells and a yoga mat, the only equipement I've got is me :happy:

    I find that cleaning the bathroom really makes me sweat! Scrub that tub as hard as you can to burn some extra calories! I think just getting up and moving around is great! Sometimes I will go and organize my closet... Not only does it get me standing on my feet for a while, but it allows me to try on some clothes I havent worn in a while to see how my progress is going. I actually had to get rid of 2 bags of clothes because they were too big now! It was awesome! All my summer dresses look super cute on, too! I even found a dress I bought in high school and it fits better now then it did 10 years ago when I bought it! Woot woot!! :)

    Jillian Michaels DVDs are great too. You can get them for pretty cheap online. You work hard and you don't have to leave your house :)

    I do as much yard work as possible! Burns those calories!
