New Habits?

So, I start my pre-op diet tomorrow.

Here are the vices/luxuries I've given up or am about to give up

1. Smoking (quit in February)
2. Beers (not a problem drinker, just a nice weather on the porch kind of drinker)
3. Pop
4. Coffee

And of course all the fast food/junk stuff.

Since I'm sure everyone reading this has had to give up the same stuff...what new habits or hobbies have you taken on. healthy ones, I mean. I considered getting into crocheting. Maybe magic.

What do you do?

    Exercise. I find that I actually enjoy it now that it doesn't hurt so much to do. I also like spending more time with my family doing active things like hiking, biking and most outdoor activities.
    I bought myself a fitbit and find that it challenges me to be even more active by adding extra steps and flights of stairs to my day.

    Oh, I forgot drinking water, lots of it and not drinking before, during or after meals. These were both things I had to get use to but are habits now.
