I am very excited for this weekend-
Friday night, I'm going to CheeseFest (basically drinking and music fest, no cheese) with the guy that I really like and will most likely spend the night over at his place.
Saturday night, I have my friend's bachelorette party at the Brewer's game- tailgating and more drinking- COUNT me in!
Sunday, I will have to recover from my weekend fun
That is so Wisconsin! Now I want some cheese curds.0 -
(I'm usually more of a lurker than a poster, but I enjoy following this forum so much that I may as well join in on the fun!)
This weekend will involve some major scary moments for me as I'm supposed to meet the parents of the guy I've been dating for the past month. I'm not usually one to bring men home to meet my parents (not this early on at least), but evidently it's really important to him and there is a birthday involved in this... so I agreed to go.
Of course now I'm freaking out a bit, but he's been really sweet and reassuring, so hopefully it'll work out. Bonus points for his parents having a pool, since I'll get to hang out in the sun with a nice glass of wine!

Umm.. well tonight I'm going to a club at one of the casinos down here because it's my girl's last night here before she moves (sad face :frown:), but before that I think I'm eating dinner with Steve. Tomorrow.. not sure.. probably SL. Oops, yeah his name is Steve. Cat's out of the bag!
Saturday I'm going with my roomie to the opening of the USS Alabama, and then Sunday I'm driving home to Little Rock to spend some time with the fam.
Right now, I'm about to go to Crossfit, and I'm still buzzing. :drinker:0 -
Friday night, my best friend is hosting the Gotham Rocks Showcase at Gramercy theater and alot of my friends are in the lineup. I get to wear a cute LBD! (thank you fat yoovie for all the years of hard work you put in -tips out a drink-) Then my two best friends are coming back to my new apartment for pizza and mariokart64 wars until we pass out, wake up, move -by foot- Jen's stuff from her place to mine. Then we are hitting the beach the rest of he day on saturday.
Sunday is my friend Toms bday, so we are going to the beirgarten to get wasted, then back to brooklyn for an all-out game of thrones finale partay!

The gorgeous british girls from down stairs are coming up to my place to have some drinks with my flatmate and I. Its great having a wing man now haha. Then we are heading to one of the good local bars that have sweet live music acts every night. So should get pretty rowdy... Who knows what will happen...
Also one our good friends and her husband are coming along too, which is awesome cause my friend Keola is like the best wingwoman ever... I dont know what she says to girls about me, but she has a 100% hit rate haha.0 -
It's a long weekend here in celebration of the Queen's diamond jubilee - 60 year reign :bigsmile: This means we're off work all weekend, Monday AND Tuesday......wooooo hooooooo!!!
I'm going to eat, drink and be merry with friends........a lot! Oh, and I got a random text from my old FWB so, I'm deciding if I want to start that up again.....hmm!! :bigsmile:
The weather has been amazing here for the last couple of weeks, but it's due to rain this weekend.....
But hey, pubs have roofs, so who cares!! Although we did all plan a picnic and games on Sunday........oh well, indoor games instead
anyway, I'm looking forward to the weekend as I've been highly stressed with work lately and need to chill. Happy weekend everyone :flowerforyou:0
