Emergency Challenge!

In lieu of the storm we had here yesterday I wanted to put out there the challenge of being prepared! Do you have batteries, flashlights, candles, an emergency bag with first-aid, cash if need to leave home, snacks like granola bars, radio (battery operated)i and where you would go in your house? Do you have a safety plan? Who can your kids contact or go stay with in your neighborhood if an emergency happens and you are not there? Unfortunately we have seen in our country how we need to prepare for the big and little events.
Don't take chances. Every time you go to the store get something you need and slowly build.

This is something I need to do...and great idea on buying something each trip to the store, I never really thought about doing it that way. Thanks!0

I always carry an emergency kit in my car, but it has never crossed my mind to have one in the house. I'll get working on it!0
