Parks in Hampton Roads

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows nice parks to jog or run in in Hampton Roads, I moved here from the Roanoke area five years ago and I have found that there are not as many public parks or at least I can find them. Any one from the area that knows what the best ones are. I like bennetts creek but since moving from ptown to chesapeake I find it a little far away.

    The Newport News Park on Jefferson Avenue is a good choice. Also the Noland Trail is a good choice. It is at the Mariners Museum which is on the intersection of Warwick Blvd and J. Clyde Blvd.

    in Portsmouth, you have Portside (waterfront area/downtown) and Portsmouth City park. Chesapeake/Western Branch area..most go to Joliff Middle school to jog off Airline Blvd

    you got it, and Mt Trashmore, if you'r up for the drive. There are plenty of ongoing activities in the Hampton roads area to link into.too.
