Hi there! I had a good weekend except it was Jillian free! I will be seeing her at lunch for punishment! I needed a few days off. I have allergies under control and will jump back on the wagon.
Hope everyone has a good Monday and a good week! I can't believe only 10 days left!0 -
Only 10 more days!!! Really, that's crazy! We're almost there... again! While our group has dwindled, I'm happy to see some of us have stuck around You're all doing amazing!
Liv, I'm happy to hear you have your allergies under control!! I know how bad they can be.0 -
Kayla, how are you finding your workout now?0

Kayla, how are you finding your workout now?
I'm feeling better now, thanks for asking! I did Level 3 today and for the first time I didn't have to stop and rest. I even did the jump squats and rock star jumps (at the modified level of course) which I have never done before. I will do it this way from now on I think.
I am going to start looking for another dvd workout though...any suggestions?0 -

That's awesome!! It's amazing how our bodies change... and it seems to happen overnight. I can remember stopping after the first "move" after the warmup!! in 6 Week Six-Pack, huffing and puffing and thinking to myself, I'll never be able to do this! And now I do it for fun and challenge myself with the "Super Advanced Versions" (as Jillian would call them) LOL! I still don't give myself enough credit sometimes and find myself thinking that something is too challenging to try... so I just block my train of thought and keep going (does that make sense?)
I've only really tried - 30 Day Shred, Shred It with Weights, 6 Week Six-Pack and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I watched Yoga Meltdown, and then attempted to do it, but found it very boring, so I turned it off and did a different workout. All of them are great workouts in their own rights - It just depends on what you're looking for I guess. Shred it with Weights is alot of squats, swings and arm raises and I really enjoy that workout. It uses a Kettlebell, but you can do it without weights or use a light dumbbell if you wanted. I credit Shred It with Weights for toning my arms and shoulders and bringing back my collar bones!! lol Oh, and for building strength in my legs that I didn't know was possible lol. I LOVE 6W6P for the core workout, and because it works more than just core lol. My stomach is going to be my trouble zone, I'll have my overhang no matter what the scale says I think, so I always try to throw in a core workout. BFBM is alot of cardio from what I can tell. I haven't really got into it yet. The whole workout is on youtube if you want to watch it (56 minutes or so - so it will be a bit of a change from the shorter 30DS). For that matter, Yoga Meltdown is on youtube in it's entirity as well.
I think Ripped in 30 may be alot of people's choice after 30 Day Shred? Or even another round of 30 Day Shred. You can't go wrong with a Jillian Michaels workout lol.0 -
Thank you for the suggestions. I have looked at youtube for a couple of things but really haven't found anything I like as well as 30DS, so I might look at Ripped in 30. I have friends that are doing Insanity...ever tried that one?0

No, but I want to!! Insanity, P90X and Body Revolution are on my list of things to do!! I'm thinking maybe in the fall, when our nice weather starts turning into not so nice weather lol. I'll never stick with one now when I could be outside biking and hiking all summer
Youtube also has "Be Fit in 90". A free 90 day workout that is along the same lines as P90X and the like. http://www.youtube.com/user/befitin90?feature=results_main0
