So my family and I just spent 9 days visiting family out of state. I was in charge of the packing of things, because I am controlling like that. I packed all the things. Including my husband's 3DS case. With all his 3DS games in it. And his 4th gen iPod Touch. And, of course, the 3DS itself. I put it in the trunk before we left the hotel. It was not in the trunk when we arrived at home. I haven't told him yet, because I was scrambling, making phone calls, checking the car 15 times, and doing a lot of praying. But at this point, I have to accept the fact that it's just gone. I don't know what happened to it, unless it maybe fell out of the trunk at some point when I opened it to get something out. I don't know.
He gets home from work in 3 hours. Wish me luck. This could get ugly.
Why can't I ever lose MY crap? Oh wait, it's because I don't have anything valuable to lose.

Highly unlikely. But I am hanging onto a last tiny, broken sliver of hope that maybe he went a little crazy and decided to play Super Mario 3D Land on his lunch break or something. But I didn't see it in his hand when he left.0 -
It was found. He didn't take it to work. What he DID do was to put it in the trash can in the car. I did'nt even think it would fit in there. And after he did that, he proceeded to ask me if I'd packed it, which is why I assumed it was still where I had left it, which it wasn't. Anyway, crisis averted. And good thing too, because my estimate of how much it would cost to replace the contents was off by about $500.0
