Zig Zagging calories

is fine. It does not matter if you eat more one day and less another. What matters is the overall calorie/macro intake. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Rule #476: Don't eat when Jupiter is in Aquarius, your body won't know what to do with those carbs0

Is that only after 8pm on those days? Or all day??0 -

Between 8pm in Papua New Guinea, and "lunch time" the next day which is totally up to you because everyone is unique and beautiful0 -
Are you sure?? My friend zig zagged once and her arm fell off. She didn't really mind though since she lost like a whole 20lbs from it.0

Why would people expect our bodies to obey a 24 hour "limit" to calories? And on what basis would they expect consistent calories every day to be optimal?0

I have no idea. But apparently that is the thought process in a different group I was recently kicked out of. There was no room for debate or discussion. I felt like this was not beneficial for the members of this site.......Hence why this group was created.....Believe in the same basic things but be open to discussion/debate in a respectful manner.0 -

The same reason they think that eating at specific timed intervals makes a huge difference. They need a black/white illustration and cannot handle grey interpretation. Their metabolism is obviously sitting there w/ a watch tapping its foot when you haven't fed it that meal within a second...0 -
My basic theory on people who need the polarizing stances on how things in the world work is simply that they are mentally inferior to a part of the population. This isn't saying they are any less intelligent, but their brain has poor reasoning skills and cannot interpret without having a clear line.
For example, my dad has a R/G color blindness. He TRIES to interpret colors, but he can be SEVERELY off sometimes because the gray caused by this blindness muddies the water. Some people are afraid of what they cannot understand, so they get super tight about anything that could cause gray area.0 -
I think that makes sense. I know a lot of people who are very intelligent or creative, but they are simply not good at data processing or logic. They function very well by following a plan created by someone else, but if you asked them WHY their macro ratios are what they are, or WHY they take rest days in between workouts, they would not be able to give you an answer. Also, not everyone ENJOYS putting a ton of thought into creating a plan specific to themselves. Some of us really like getting into the dirty details of nutrition and fitness and for others, complicating the process is just not motivating. I can understand why someone would want to follow someone else's plan. It's kind of a pain to scrutinize everything, because it often means making changes.
Since losing weight is what I personally have experience with (not necessarily maximizing fitness), I know that losing weight does not have to be complicated. The more complicated you make it, the harder it is to focus on the ultimate goal.0 -
