I just started communication on eharmony and the guy is 6'4". I am 4'11" and usually I am contacted by shorter guys because I make them feel tall.
Does such a big difference can work?

Tall guys also have a tendency to date shorter girls to "over compensate".
Personality wise, it could work. I'm 5'9 so I end up having the opposite problem. Short guys trying to create tall kids with me.

Height should be insignificant in matters of love.
Before my back injury, I was 6'2"...my first wife 4'11-3/4", though she SWEARS the doctor has no clue how to measure how tall someone is. We never had issues with height...but we did have a few step-stools.0 -

Lol - so true. My sister is 5' and dating a 6'6" tall guy. I totally gave her crap for it, because I am almost 5'11" and the guys that are interested in me are usually 5'8" ish. 0 -

the only really bad thing about dating a tall guy (i'm 5'5 so anything over 6'0 is stratosphere for me) is that it's hard to have a discrete private conversation :laugh: you either have to yell so he can hear you or he has to bend down which ruins it if you're trying to not let other people know that you're having a private conversation0 -
I'm 5'4" and I prefer guys to be much taller than me because then I don't feel bad towering over them when I wear heels.

Sorry, I'm a shorty, and I prefer tall men. The guys I have dated recently were short (5'5 to 5'8) but the man I'm seeing now is a foot taller than I am. It works for me.0

I suppose I've never had a preference for height. I've dated guys the same height as me (5'5-6) and guys taller than me. Never shorter though. I just bought some new heels so I might have to implement a 5-inch rule. For height and for......Hahahahaha.0

I actually know a lot of tall men who are very attracted to super short girls. It makes me mad because I'm 5'8"! Quit hogging the tall ones
I don't think it should make a difference either way. I know a married couple where the lady is 5" and her husband is 6"6'. He had to pick her up on their wedding day haha. They are cute and wonderful!

my dad is 6'9, my mother was 5' even. Not a problem. They were together for 28 years, probably still would be except she passed away. Go for it!!0
