So Navy spent all day blowing up my phone yesterday about coming out to the bar and how he couldn't wait to see me again.... Then when he shows up and meets all of my friends we where dancing and singing and having a grand old time. I go inside real quick and come out to my little sister rushing up to me... Apperantly Navy told her he and I were nothing but friends and he would really like to go out with her.... GRRRR guys do us ladies a favor dont pull a sister flip. This happens to us alot and goes both ways. 1 it weirds us out and 2 its probably not gonna go down the way you think it will. So Navy finally pulls me aside and he says your awesome , cool and gorgous BUT your sisters really pretty and I wonder if you think she would date me..... Then hes like dont hate me and dont tell anybody else here.... Mind you he had already told 3 of my friends trying to get there advice...... I talked to my sister and after I convinced her I wasnt mad at her I told her if she wants his number she can have it..... Mind you I'm mad as hell at him. Not so much that he likes my sister but the way he handled it and made it so public... Plus hes like I want you to be my best friend and your gonna keep texting me to go out right. I just looked at him and explained that yes he would be more than welcome to come out....Then because karma has a sense of humor one of my old FWB showed up and started hitting on me. Navy just looked at me and said " oh so you got it like that huh" and I told him like I said you werent gonna make me mad lol........... Man I cant wait til FWB gets back in town on Monday hes gonna think this is hilarious especially since he already warned me about the Navy guy lol....... Also my sister has 2 date this weekend with a different guy so I think this man is in for a rude awakening lol

But in closing he is a giant @$$ because of the way he handled it and I hate it when guys want to flip between me and my sister it get annoying.......

awwwwww what? This is when I pull out the *kitten* card. You don't even date your ex's friends much less their family. It would be different if you had decided to just be friends prior to him asking to date your sister but no no no.

It sounds like this isn't the first time somethng like this has happened with your sister. Are you sure she wasn't more than an innocent recipient of an unwanted advance from Navy guy?

Oh, that is SO offside on his part.

I have 2 sisters close to my age so I know how easily this can happen, but family first... always!

I think he is pretty tacky to say the least but not tp put too fine a point on it or to make you mad but when you enter into a FWB situation there is no reason to be surprised by about anything.
What I mean is that the basic stipulation is that neither party is bound to the other short of any mutually agreed upon "rules".

Now everyone is going to keep dumping on the guy and I agree he has the tact of a tree stump but keep in mind the exact situation that is supposed to be...sex without any intimate feelings or connections.

This is why I still say 90% or more ladies should never enter into one.

But wasn't Navy guy not as much a FWB but someone she was interested in really dating? I get confused! I agree on the FWB point, but I thought he was different.

I don't think that was her FWB that did that. I believe it was a guy she went on a couple dates with and hasn't slept with. Either way that is a line that shouldn't be crossed.

There was a guy that asked me out after going out with my sister. He tried to justify it by saying she broke it off with him. Umm no, would never do that to my sister.

She has/had FWB, Navy and Army. She wasn't sleeping with Navy and Army but dating them.

OP guys tend to give out signals before hand when they are bro-zoning you (he male equivalent of the friend zoned). i it possible that you misread this situation and mistook one thing for another?

i wont say his actions are tacky or not tacky, because it's possible that he thought he was being clear in his intentions. this is why i never assume a dude is into me unless he says something along the lines of "hey i think you're hot and i want to date you" otherwise i've seen this situation all too often when the guy thinks they are just friends and the girl thinks they are bf and gf and meanwhile nothing has been discussed about a romantic relationship

    LOL this ^^^^^^^^^

I've been on a couple of dates with navy. Things were going well. My FWB and I have no rules as you put it Carl but since we've been "together" he has respected me enough not to hit on my sister or my best friend..... And no my sister didn't encourage hi,m. She is just really reall pretty

this^^^ Does your sis know he dated you?? That would turn me off him immediately (if it was my sister)

I dont even have words for people like this. Its shocks me every time that someone can have his eye on you and then zoom in on someone else close to you (sister, friend) :noway:

Well rid of him! The guy's got no manners/shame/respect/decency..............etc

Honestly I dont know if my sister will stay away...which kinda pisses me off cause if the situation where reversed I would tell him where to stick it... But shes been going through a major dry spell and I think her selfconfidence has been damaged so she just might do it...... I'm just gonna get my popcorn ready..

Oh I didn't misread his signs he wasnt bro-zoning my (as you put it) right up until the moment he started flirting with my sister..... I have almost all male friends I know the signals for bro-zoning lol He was way to touchy and verbally suggestive
