Friday night date recaps?

OK, there were a ton of people yesterday mentioning plans for a Friday night date. As someone who had plans that didn't involve a date, I would love to live vicariously through you, haha...and I know enough other MFP Single Peeps want the details too!

I spent Friday night at a drive-in movie with my best friend feeling vaguely jealous of the windows of some cars that were clearly fogging up, yet not lonely enough to make that move on my BFF, haha. How did your Friday night date plans go?

Mine was the most awkward night ever- I went out with the girls but I invited this guy from my lunch networking meeting out with us since he said he was bored and looking for something to do. So he ended up hitting on me most of the night then in walks the guy I am seeing!!!!!!! The most awkward situation since I really like the guy I'm seeing and am not even interested in the guy that has been hitting on me. So I hung out near my guy and the other guy figures it out eventually and then goes to hit on my cousin who turns him down- well 2 hours later he finally left but holy awkward night. I was talking to ladies in the bathroom who were no help in giving me advice since they said I was lucky since this never happens to them - that did not make my situation better. What an odd night!!

ok so talk about dodging a bullet... My sister, the guy shes currently playing with, Navy and I went out with some of my friends....... ONG Navy was sooo much cuter before he started talking...... My sister was sick of him in about 10 min lol.....All he could talk about was what he owns and what he drives... Then the man can't drink... It was like babysitting a drunk 3 yr old with no attention span.... Several people asked me what was wrong with him lol......How ever I had fun.. I did get to drive his very expensive car lol..... But we got so annoyed with him and trying to corral him that when we bar hoped for the 3rd time at 5 am.. we kinda left him at the second bar. I dont even think he noticed we were gone.... We did make sure he was drinking only water at the second bar..Tonight about 20 of us are getting together to do it again and its flirting time lol... I really have to get my fill before FWB comes back cause I have a feeling when his plane lands I'll be hearing from him

LOL oh hes is gorgous I'll give him that...... Wouldn't know whats hes packing though..... He did offer to buy my sister and I tickets to Europe in September to travel with him ........ But I think that might have been the alcohol talking.... Basically hes good looking and has money but man no personality..

Wow Jenbit, all I can say is wow.

First date yesterday (early, b/c I had a revival at church). Heart dropped when I saw him approach my car- I thought he was 6'2" but I had to give him, at the most, 5'8". And he was very thin, not much broader than my son! We had a nice electronic rapport and plus he flexed to meet when it was convenient with me, so I decided to at least have a meal with him (and yes, j4nash I tried to pay since I knew it wasn't going anywhere but he wouldn't let me). After all, he drove all this way. We had a really fun meal, and he asked me if we could see each other again. When I got back home, I found out that I had confused his profile with someone else who looked similar but was 6'2". Oops. I really enjoyed his personality, and wouldn't mind hanging out and some companionship. But he really deserves to be out with someone who wants to rip his cloths off. Ya know?

I went out to dinner with the boy I've been seeing for a few weeks now. I was having a huge craving for this local chicken place with the best coleslaw ever, and he was willing to indulge my craving, which gave him bonus points in my opinion. Afterwards we met up with 2 of his friends and played board games all evening. Had a great time.... I really think this could go somewhere.

Well... I didn't have a date but I went to a surprise birthday party for an old friend of mine. It was fun. Plenty of people to mingle with. Stay within the group of people that I knew. sipped on a 40oz tecate. After that event, I went home and called it a night.

Tonight I might go out dancing with co workers.. maybe I'll have a more entertaining story tomorrow.

Went and watched the new Snow White movie. It was aight, woulda been way better if Thor woulda removed his clothing. After the movie she had to get back home, and I went back to my mom's house wanting more beer, but just went to bed.

my drive-in has 2 movies for the price of 1. Snow White was showing with Battleship. Snow White was the first one, I dozed off mid way through it however Battleship I completely stayed awake for. :bigsmile: Snow White wasn't that great. Battleship, though lacking plot, was a good action popcorn flick.

OMG, that's what I did last Friday night too.. just where are you at? Snow White wasn't bad and thankfully Battleship had enough adrenaline that I was able to stay up until I got home at 3 AM. Thank God for AC/ DC music, right? I never felt so old at the end of that since it was so late and past my bedtime!
