WTF Does this mean?

Was having a conversation with the gentleman friend. He had sent me a text telling me I hurt him. I apologized, never wanted to hurt him. He said he wanted to be friends because I was expecting too much from him (he actually misunderstood what I was trying to get at) . Lack of communication, which he did not allow me the chance to explain where I was coming from. We talked for awhile, once I explained where I was coming from.

His final response was: I dont want it to end like this. How can we solve this problem.

Thing is I told him I will not talk about this any further via text only, with something like this we need to meet face to face.

Being a woman I will tell you I am over thinking everything. My best gf says it sounds like he is willing to try to work this out and discuss this lack of communication problem.

talk to him face to face. give him a chance to work on communication. i was probably still am poor at communication however i know it so i am aware and i try to talk things out in person cause phone or texts dont convey the tone and body language.

i am not sure if you are overthinking it but like i said just give him a chance to communicate

This is all a bit vague so best I can say is meet with him and talk...that is the best thing to do.

Sounds like he said it right there! You just have to say "to resolve this problem we need to meet and talk"
