More work and travel. Nothing to see here.

The long absense from my girlfriend has really sucked. I still have a week and a half to go on this trip. Fortunately, she seems to be sticking it out. Thank God for Skype.

Uh .. lets seeeee .. lol.

I mowed. I weedeated. I pulled weeds. I cleaned. I worked on the ac with my dad. I cleaned some more. I started 50 Shades Darker. Um .. I watched Something Borrowed and Red Riding Hood. That was about it.

Excitement is the word I think you are all searching for.

I was away with a naughty group of children from school. Saturday saw a few temper tantrums, some stupid behaviour and swearing as well as some team work, some fantastic children and some learning. Sunday was a nightmare, a 13 year old threatening a Colonel, swearing and temper tantrums, kicking off at staff and someone pulling out a knife & waving it around before putting it to his throat.....all before 8.30am!!

Friday night -- played on MFP and POF. Two pretty cool guys messaged me and I'm still talking to both. We'll see. One asked for my number and we've talked about three times by phone now and the other is still in the message stage. BOTH into fitness -- yeah! One is a firefighter/EMT in my town and the other lives in Vegas and has done a Tough Mudder. Think I have a date with the firefighter guy either Friday or Saturday.

Saturday -- tried to go hit on a sexy bartender and then got there and just ordered a tea and soup and bailed. LOL SOOO hard to do! Came home and played on MFP.

Sunday -- Good friend of mine was in a car accident - critically injured and is being taken off of life support today. Went to lunch with a friend who also is a friend of his and reminisced about his quirkiness and his obnoxious laugh that we'd love to hear again. Watched Alien by myself and got insanely scared!

Definitely a weird weekend... I'm okay about my friend. He lived a wonderfully full life and was just a joy to know. He touched many people and made their lives better.

^^^ My weekend was like this only without the cleaning, yardwork, reading, watching movies, or family visits. I ran, went for a long bike ride, slept a lot, watched a lot of TV, and went to a college summer league baseball game.

I went to a classic car show on Saturday from 7am-4pm. Toted around 3 cameras and 8 lenses with me (digital and film cameras) and by the end of it was tired, crabby and sunburned. Hoped to see some hunky gear-heads there, but no such luck, only ran into coworkers.

Yesterday I went out shooting pics for a while, but for the most part just laid around reading and sleeping. Now THAT'S excitement!

I had a fantastic weekend! Hung out with friends and family a lot! Played a lot of Diablo 3, cleaned, went shopping for new shorts/shirts for summer, went to a street dance on Saturday looking all fine, met some new people (one slightly promising female as well ;) ), had an amazing day on the golf course sunday, and had sushi! Yeah, this weekend rocked!

I am sorry that happened, but then again you kinda saw it coming. *huge hugs* but as you have told me NEXT!

ETA: mowed my front and backyard, weedeated, then took all my frustrations on this man thing on my baseboards, walls, floors, etc. When I was done my house smelled of bleach and lysol. And tried to not roast to death with the heat we had last night.

Okay have time to update mine.

Well I met a guy. Really I met him on Wed at trampoline dodgeball. He was in a group of about 12 of us that went out to Hooters afterwards and he sat across the table from me. I never really actually caught his name that night but he caught mine. About 6 of us were at one end of the table talking. He kept saving me from a older creepy guy that was sitting next to me. At the end of the night he ended up being parked next to me so we walked out together and left it at a hug. I had the feeling he would be a nice guy to get to know and since it was part of a meet up group I was pretty sure we would see eachother again. So not your normal bar meet where you have to exchange numbers or it was a lost cause.

Fast forward to Sat night. I went to a party that one of the guys from the meetup group was having. I walked in with a couple friends, headed right to the bar to drop our our contributions to the party and talked a minute to another friend. As I was heading back outside he stopped me. We talked for awhile and another girl joined our little group to talk. Well when he left to get a new beer I asked her what his name was. Well lets just say she was shocked I didn't know his name since we just seemed to mesh. She thought we had been friends for awhile and said that he must be really into me then. Turns out his name is Geoff (one of about 5 Jeff's in the group which explains why I missed his name as they all run together). He came back but had to go play *kitten* since he was in the finals of the tournment. Through out the night we just kind of ended up in the same groups. Kind of like we just kind of gravitated to where the other was. A lot of casual touching and smiling going on between the both of us. At the end of the night he was giving me a shoulder massage. I ended up leaving about 3am. We didn't exchange numbers or anything but I think we are both comfortable in the fact that we will see echother again through these events and have mutual friends.

It sounds really innocent compared to what some of the rest of you go through but hey there is nothing wrong with going slow and I think there was mutual signs of attaction between us.

I had a date Friday night. My good friend and her boyfriend joined us at the bar we were hanging out at a couple hours after the date started. The reason why we went to this bar is because there is a huge back deck right on the bay. It was beautiful. We had a couple drinks, shared an appetizer, and watched a decent band. At some point, we started holding hands and smooched a few times. He is very cute, nice, a little rednecky, and really mushy. LOL

I know, I know, we want guys to talk about their feelings and be open with us but damn, after the first date? Oh well. I am going to see him again.

Saturday, my son and I went on my mom's boat with my parents and then came home and futzed around the house. Sunday, my neighbor's son was having his 3rd bday party on the beach in front of our apartments, so we played on the beach for around 6 hours. I am a bit burned and so is D. But he had a great time.

Oh Oh Oh, and Dan started texting me Sunday night. Said he poofed because he had a family emergency and had to go home to Michigan. Eh.

I think that sounds like a wonderful way to get to know a guy. Much better than online dating.

Not much excitement here.......Sat went apartment shopping with my cousin from 8:30-6 --long day, and rough one--went through everything in storage, and ALL kitchen stuff is gone!! I must have put it in the wrong pile when I packed to move out when ex and I split--sad, but that just meant I had a reason to buy all new stuff !!! :)

Sunday, we had my niece's 3rd bday party and it was total chaos---my sister always has chaos, but my niece was loving life and she was happy so that was what was important.

Oh god another horrific weekend. Friday we went out for a mates birthday and got absolutely trashed playing drinking games. Every 5 punishments you got to make a new rule so by the end of the night I was having to hop backwards to the bar, I wasn't allowed to show my teeth to anyone and I had to speak in an Irish accent. By the end of the night we weren't allowed to high 5 only shoe 5..Jesus we act like kids when we get slaughtered.

Had 3 hours sleep after getting ejected from a supermarket because the birthday boy decided he wanted to lie on the ironing board on display..

Then parklife! It's a massive 2 day festival and 300 people showed up, most djs I've ever wanted to see were there I even tried something new because de la soul were there and I'd heard about them. Worst thing was he'd set a rule we had to go to a festival I'm suits..it had rained for 3 days straight the bottom half is ruined lol, I got interviewed by MTV and I wasn't in a good state at the time! Got a few really nice girls numbers though so I'll be contacting a few since I recovered.
Barely ate anything all.weekend so I'm feeling awful, about 20 hrs of dancing/raving wad so much fun though. I got far too wasted yesterday though and I've been out of bed for a total of 10 mins today I feel so bad. It's now pretty much 7pm now!

Friday - I worked (it's supposed to be our day off since we offically we do 5/10s, but really we do 6/10s). I also cleaned the apartment
Saturday - I cleaned some more, made home made potato salad, went window shoping with a coworker for fun, and then went to a grill out with my coworkers (friends). It was really fun, we drank, played poker and grilled. There was WAY too much food.

After the grill out me and one of my close friends (also a coworker) decided to go star gazing. He's a guy and we get along very well. It would be great if it worked out such that I met him, got along with him, and then we could like each other and date... but there's no chemistry between us at all. ZERO physical attraction and Zero desire on either side for dating each other. We've never spoke of this, it's just something we both just know. It works out though cause he's a bit older than what I prefer for dating and he's has different long-term goals. So anyway we went stargazing and stayed out all night and then ate breakfast. Had good conversations on what we wanted from work, where we think we should go, past incidences, etc. (My coworkers are kinda like family - because we see each other more than family, celebrate holidays and birthdays together, and even help each other out with chores.)

Anyway Sunday: I was hung over, just a bit. Went over to another coworkers house (he's 70) and helped him work on his motorbikes and cars.

It was a very good weekend!

Well I decided Saturday morning I need to stop seeing my non-boyfriend. I'm getting too many feelings and why prolong the hurt. That night a friend of a friends band was playing at a dive bar. Had a 22 year old hang on me all night. They keep getting younger and younger. Drank way too much and ended up getting stuck vomiting in a minivan with automatic doors that nobody knew how to open. I'm a very classy drunk. I can laugh now. I guess the reason I'm attracting young kids is because I'm acting like one.

Friday night I broke things off with one of the girls I was seeing. Saturday had a golf outing, didn't golf well as usual but still had a great time. Sunday worked out, then hung out with a buddy and had a few beers. Not very exciting.
