Stumbled on this dating profile posted by a man today. Please, please, please guys tell me this is not serious!
My self-summary
Perhaps a more helpful starting point of understanding. http://aroundherfinger.com/
Q: Would you date someone who was already in a committed relationship with someone else?
A: No, but I don't think it's inherently wrong.
Explanation: “I've had more than one relationship where we lived together and I was committed to only her but she still dated or had other bf's. I would accept this position even in a marriage.”
You should message me if
* In a relationship you believe the woman can always do what she wants, when she wants, with who she wants; but the man can do only what she allows or tells him
* you know what you want in a serious long term relationship
* you can articulate it clearly
* you are fully self aware
* you don't have all types of hangups
* you can carry an intelligent conversation
* you actually understand that people take turns talking when people have a conversation
* you can talk about anything and don't go run and hide when the conversation takes an adult/(i.e. important but difficult to answer) turn
* you are more interested in who I am and what I am about as a person, especially inside a relationship, than what I look like
* you will not attempt to express to me how every bad thing that has happened to you in your life is always someone else's fault. (Own some responsibility.)
* you aren't trying to peddle some sort of goods and services or promotion
* you DON'T think driving more than 10 minutes away from your house is far.
* you aren't trying to study me for some sort of school paper or project.
* It was completely clear to you that I am NOT looking for a sugar momma
* You laughed hysterically AND smiled to yourself thinking he is so her ***** now while watching the following "Road Trip" movie clip.

Lol. Sounds like he was trying to be eccentric and just came off as crazy.0

The odd thing is some of the bullet points seem serious and some seem to be sarcastic. Usually they don't mix it up like that.0

I'm failing to see what's so wrong with this? Sure not my style but... is it really that weird?0

well I would say definitely different that is for sure. I know stumbling on that -NEXT would cross my mind0

Sure, there are dudes like that. I think they also like getting their faces stepped on in heels and watching large angry men have their way with their wives while they apologize in the corner.0

Yes, I think this was why I was so caught off guard by it! Whatever works for people is fine by me.0 -

Yes it's a serious profile advertising for women who want to play a specific role in a relationship ie (from the website he directs you to) "a relationship where the husband willingly and happily submits to the loving female authority of his wife.".
Not my cup of tea  :drinker:0 -

Must be Canadian.
That would explain a lot!0 -
Though they're a little weird to mention, I'm ok with the bullet points; it's the first question/answer that I don't align with. Oh wait. I forgot to look at the website... probably won't be able to before my editing capabilities expire.0

The more these types of threads pop up, the more I am convinced my profile will probably be quoted if anyone ever runs across it. Not that it's anything like these, but if I recall correctly (haven't looked at t in long time) it's just me saying I am never around, I love my pillow and a bunch of lyrics from bad 80's songs.0

After saying that, you might need to share your profile :laugh:0 -

The guy tells upfront what he expects, so the woman knows. Unusual, but fair.0 -
A male submissive? Interesting! But then he's a bit demanding for a submissive!! I shall have to whip him! :laugh:0

That's exactly what I was thinking! haha Tag-team with me Anna?
It may be b/c he's just out of a relationship, and hasn't fully healed - some of those points are VERY specific.
Oh yeah, and Canadians are tough! *flex* hehe0 -
