Hello,
I just joined the group and I'd like to introduce myself - I'm Kim from Detroit, Michigan and I've been on Fitnesspal about a year or so. I turned 40 last year and my goal was to be 125 pounds by my 41st birthday (July 7). I've changed my eating habits and I exercise 5-6 days a week, including weights, cardio and anything fun. Looking for encouragement and support and to be encouraging to other 40+ plus looking to adapt to a healthier lifestyle. I'm focusing on getting lean at this point although I'm a few pounds away from my goal weight, and I'm around size 2/4. I like the way I look in my clothes and I try not to focus on pounds or size at this point. Any fitness/exercise tips on getting lean after 40???

Hi Kim,
Welcome to the group! You are way ahead of me. I'm looking to get fit by 50 and have a long way to go! It sounds like you have the right attitude. Balance is the key.
