Hi Guys,

I've been doing barefoot and minimalist shoe running for about a month now. I'm doing an easy 5k on satruday (flat, smooth pavement and cement) and I'm going to go barefoot. I did three miles barefoot last week so I'm okay at that distance.

What can I expect from other runners?? Starring, pointing laughing and questions?? Do you have any good responses for the "Hey you forgot your shoes!" smart a$$es?? What have your race experiences been like?

Thanks for the help!

You will do awesome! If anybody gives you any smart *kitten* comments, just tell them you'll see them at the finish line! I got only one negative comment when I wore my Vibrams for my half last year. A guy told me that I would ruin my feet and legs running in them. I told him that was his opinion. Good luck!
