Is it normal to gain when first starting out? I have gained 2 lbs --- thought I was eating well and I was moving more......
What a disappointing Friday morning..........

I gained one pound when I first started. I lost it and have never seen that number again and hopefully never will. Even now, I still fluctuate.

The important thing to remember is that 3500 calories equals a pound so unless you ate 7000 calories over your goal on MFP, it is not fat! It is probably water. I gained six pounds once (I had gone on vacation). It came off within the next few days. Water.

Still, I feel your frustration. But don't give up! :flowerforyou:

I am right there with you. It's hard to lose weight when you have PCOS because our bodies are very special about how they process the food we eat. Keep at it! At least you aren't gaining!

Ok I'm stupid, you did gain a little, but I was going on miranda's assumption that you have water weight not REAL weight! Just mean we should be proud of taking steps to be healthier, even if it doesn't give us the numbers we want!
