Does anyone drink protein shakes while doing this? or is that more for pro powerlifters? I currently get approx 60-80grams a day just from food (mostly chicken)

Yep.
On days I lift I do a shake, or if I haven't gotten enough protein for the day. I'm aiming for about 30% protein or about 120 g/day (at least on lift days).
Sometimes I'm a bit hungry and use it as a meal replacement or to get to my calories for the day if I'm under.0 -
Protein shakes are fine to use. Easy way to top off the protein macro. I used them for a long time and if I get low I'll have one. Been using cottage cheese more lately and it helps.0
