Hi. I'm 52 and have been running for 3 years. I run with my 16 yo son and sometimes with my husband. We just completed our first half marathon yesterday. It was okay - tough run on gravel/mud/packed dirt trails - and we all did pretty well for our first time. I find that running has helped immensely with being successful in losing weight. But, my main goal is to stay healthy and enjoy exercise.
