I didn't like it. After Edgar Wright's other movies I was expecting a screenplay with some character depth to it and instead it felt really, really shallow to me. Like a one-trick pony. It felt like something that would have been great as a 15 minute short stretched out into an appallingly boring 2 hours.

No stoning. While I did like it, it was too long and could have been edited down. There were some really funny moments and great one-liners that I'll be adding to my repertoire though.

Haha the one-liners are endless in that movie. My brother and I constantly have exchanges from it.

But Tightpants, Geekly, I would have to agree with you iin this. The movie is praised for its one-liners and stylized fighting scenes. There is little to no character development (maybe because they're expecting you to read the books first?) and even one of the characters, his name is Comeau says: "No, it's just the comic book is better than the movie" during one of the scenes. Either way, its fun eyecandy and some time to kill when you're sitting at the metro station and have nothing else to do...
