Here is Boss, my 92.2 lb Lab mix. And just like mommy, he needs to lose some weight!

He's lost 2 lbs since February just by increasing his exercise, but that has been inconsistent, unfortunately. Six days ago, he switched from a free-feeding lifestyle to a predatory feeding lifestyle, which should hopefully help with his weight loss. In this picture, he's cooling off after a walk/jog. Hopefully he burned some calories, too!

Anyone else have pets that are overweight and are working with them?

    I noticed our cats are getting a bit on the heavy side as well. We stopped filling up the automatic feeder, and just put a cup of hard food down for them now, and they get 1/2 a can of soft food each, a day. Plus we moved to an apartment with stairs so there is a bit more of a workout for them now. Hopefully that will help.
