 DFW area here... and jogging is out of the question. It's even in the 90's in the middle of the night. Without a treadmill what's a good indoor cardio exercise?

Try youtube! :) Jumping jacks, going up and downs stairs (if you have them in your place inside), if you are willing try -zumba (again look online), body weight exercises, etc. Just start moving!

I love Texas but I don't like the way it makes me sweat from walking to the car!

It's crazy hot here in the valley! My husband and I finally broke down and bought a treadmill. But we still run outside in the early morning, it seems to be coolest around 530ish. If you have the room, you can get a treadmill or elliptical on craigslist for fairly cheap. Otherwise, there are plenty of DVD's out there, the 30 day shred and p90x seem to be popular ones.

Too hot?? I do almost all my miles at River Legacy in Arlington between 7-9pm. Acclimate!!! It's what we do when we run in Texas! Just build up to it and hydrate well. Watch your scale for fluid loss. It's more mental than anything. No sweat. Well, actually, lots of it!
