Tonight is a first "date" from an OKC chick. We're both down to keep it as not-really-a-date until we vet each other out for serial killer status.
I probably plan on being done with that back in time to get home and go out with my buddies, watch them drink themselves silly, and just relax. Tomorrow I'm planning on driving to Monterey and testing out my new kayak.
Sunday is Mayhem Fest at Shoreline!

Just arrived into Paris yesterday afternoon (traveling Europe with my daughter (19) and niece (16)). We did the Louvre today. Tomorrow will probably be a hop on hop off bus tour and then a night-time waking tour. Sunday we'll take the train to Brussels for the next stop in our journey.
On another note, my girlfriend is taking her daughter on a cruise (they left yesterday). This will be the first day we haven't at least talked on the phone since the day we met. Four days with no contact is really sucking right now.

Oh I forgot to add.. on Saturday night, I'll be going to a party. Last chance to get crazy in Austin and my friend Daniel is celebrating his b-day downtown. My mom will be here though (everybody else will have gone home because I'm staying until Monday due to work) so I'm trying to come up with an excuse as to why I'll be dressed like a hooker going out at 11pm and returning at 2am. I am 33 but my mom thinks I'm 16.

Ok so Tonight I'll be going shopping with my Best friend then dinner just she and I. Then I'll head to sticks with my sister my best friend and either Mr. Nice guy or Army guy... FWB is working the coldplay show (lucky *kitten*) so I'm sure hell try to hit me up later ..
Saturday a huge group of us are going bar hopping FWB should be along with several other people. I may be home before dawn maybe lol...
Sunday my sister and I will probably go see majic mike before her new boy toy comes over to fix my brakes ...
Monday and tuesday back at sticks for karoeke and dancing and on the 4th I'm gonna have to soo whose BBQ I'm crashing lol0 -

I am headed to a great bar tonight for a friend's moving away party. Granted, she's only moving a few hours away back to SC, but we gotta send her off right.
Saturday is unplanned, but I have options. I'll do my normal Zumba and a stop at the farmer's market. A friend is throwing a BBQ. I'm still planning some shopping this weekend... I'm using my cruise in less than 6 weeks as an excuse, though I'm not sure why I feel the need to justify it, haha! It's my weekend to volunteer (checking in the little ones) at church again so I'll stay for service so I can sleep in Sunday!
Sunday's only plan is to see Magic Mike...I can only imagine how crazy that will be considering how many I women I know will be going, haha....
Looking forward to next week at work actually... almost everyone is on vacation part or all of the week so should be VERY low stress!!

Tru TV, and then when they went to goofy reality shows about towing companies, ID TV came along. And Oprah's new network also has a heaping helping of shows about people who got suddenly dead.
I really should stop watching all those programs, but I actually find the science and deduction behind solving the crimes fascinating.0 -

My name is Diana and I've been lost for the last 2-3 weeks. :happy:
My weekend will consist of me moving back to Galveston area.
So I've been doing a lot of thinking these past weeks. My choices, my life, my future, everything came down on me and I went to spend some time with my family to regroup. I talked to my parents and we had a great time. They heard my fears, etc so they offered for me to live in their rental property for very very very cheap if I wanted to go to school full time. I will be working either part time or a stress free full time type of job.
HELL YEAH.
They had been telling me to make the move for a while, but I'm stubborn and I wanted to prove to myself and to others that I'm independent. I am and I have proved that, I can make it but I realize I don't want to simply make it. I want to make myself happy and feel passionate about what I do. So now it's time for me to get my *kitten* together. My divorce "high" is over and reality has set in. Wtf am I doing? I feel like I've been floating around, not pushing forward in general. Don't get me wrong, I have made great strides in certain areas but as far as career wise, nada.
I'm excited for this new chapter. I hate leaving Austin but maybe one day I'll return. I need to do what's best for ME right now and the sooner I'm done, the better.

Let's see, this weekend, there is the Body Pump relaunch at my gym so I am going to do that, then yoga immediately following that. So basically 2 hours of my day in the gym. Nothing really exciting, recycling, laundry, mowing front and back yard. Spending Sunday with my gma, taking her to run errands, and then trying to find time to REST in the middle!0 -

My conference in Atlanta continues this weekend. I had set up 3 dates for next week when I get back but, honestly, after reconnecting with my old friend I've lost interest. I will definitely cancel one of those dates (I wasn't that into him anyway), but I'm not sure I should cancel the other two. My head is trying to remind my heart that everyone flirts during conventions and not to read anything into it unless he keeps it up after I return home.for sure the gym...going to reach my first goal if i work hard this weekend

Tonight is hot yoga. I go every week, even though it kills any chance at Friday night plans. I think secretly I hope to meet a hot yoga man, one day
Nada for tomorrow except groceries, getting my car's oil changed (hey excitement!) and hitting the gym. At night I hope to catch a concert in the park, and maybe grab a cup of coffee with a friend.
Sunday I am heading out shopping in the USA and then meeting a random OKC guy for a quick hangout. It's completely casual and neither of us are looking for anything serious. Just a fun hour or two :blushing:
And Monday is a holiday in Canada, so I am going to be taking a day trip to the beach with my Ex-turned/still-best-friend.
Should be a nice weekend. I know things won't go as planned but I expect some good workouts and some fun times enjoy the "hot as balls" weather. I just soak it up! Bring on the tan! :drinker:0 -

I *never* had one say, "yeah, I'm just passing the time til we get done." They *always* said they're looking for something real or I'm sooooo special or I'm what they've been missing etc. And then when we leave, I never hear from them again. Except for one guy (in 3 years). So I just stopped asking, and also stopped getting my hopes up when I travel and meet someone who's into me.0 -

I hope you dont mind me saying Janie, but you always judge EVERY guy by the FEW!! I think you need to judge each guy individually. I know perhaps the military guys all think the same/have the same attitude (but even then I find it hard to believe that every guy is the same), but in civvie street everyone is different/unique/special.

I travel a LOT for my job- average 10-12 trips a year, some a few days and some a few weeks. Since I'm alone and child-free I tend to be more outgoing, more social, during these trips and get a lot more male attention than at home. In 3 years (maybe about 30 trips?) I've only had ONE guy who flirted with me while I'm away actually call me after the trip was over and we went back to our respective locations. So, while I certainly do need to work on giving each guy a clean slate, in this instance I don't think I'm judging the many by the few.0 -
My weekend was mostly spent watching ID TV, since we're switching cable companies in a few days so I'm about to lose access. Good thing, as it probably contributes to my social phobia by making me way too wary of strangers.
Was also watching OWN and last night there was one episode about cheating spouses that made me wonder why I don't just take my fat self out now and find someone when I get lonely. This woman met her husband when she weighed 300 pounds. Sadly, she got gastric bypass, lost the weight, and cheated on him. Boo!
But anyway, yeah, then I remembered, I'm obnoxious, therefore I need some physical attractiveness to counterbalance my personality. Plus I need to be fit enough to flee should my jokes rub a budding psychopath the wrong way!0 -

For anyone who is following the earlier discussion... my old friend from the conference called me tonight to help me stay awake during this long boring drive. He started off the convo talking about how he didn't want to date a woman with kids. I"m like, "Oh great... this will be a quick convo." Somewhere in there he threw in something about how he wasn't willing to do another long distance relationship (uh-oh) but 6 hours later, by time I pull into the driveway, he's told me the story of the day we first met 15 years ago, down to what outfit I was wearing that day, how he had just prayed the Lord would send him a wife, and when he got up from prayer service, there I was in front of him, so he introduced himself, was encouraged by how nice I was to him, and then heartbroken when I immediately left him to sit down next to my husband in "this is my man" mode. We talked about Marriage Builders/Love Languages (both similar philosophies) and were both very in tune with ministry philosophies. He called me beautiful a million times, and we've made plans for a visit. I'm still confused as to why he would sound like he's into me when two very key things (kids and distance) are definite deal-breakers for him, but I'll enjoy the attention while it lasts.0
