Hi Everyone!!
I'm using Biblegateway.com's verse of the day today.

Psalm 138:7-8
New International Version (NIV)
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life.
You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes;
with your right hand you save me.
8 The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever —
do not abandon the works of your hands.

I don't know about you, but lately I've felt down right beat up by the pressures I've been putting on myself. I feel like I'm failing terribly at everything. I've maybe read this verse before but if I have I've not paid close attention to it like I should have. The more I read it the more I like it and it gives me confidence that I am not failing if I am doing everything I can to the best of my ability and in the glory of God. It reminds me of a song we do at church, Matt Redman's You Never Let GO, so here are those lyrics too. Have a Great Friday!!

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back
I know you are near

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

(Chorus:)
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We'll live to know You here on the earth

(Chorus)

Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You

(Chorus 2x's)
