sometimes i use it. it's useful to a point, but most of the time i end up going off the trail. LOL0

I went off the trail several times and it followed me every step of the way. I was super impressed!0

do you have the app for your android/iphone?
i just have a crappy BB so i can only really premap my run before hand and try to stick to the original outline.0 -
Yea, I have the app for my Android. That and Run! Zombies app
lol0 -
LOL
watch out for those zombies on 118th ave after dark.0 -
I'm almost afraid to know what you mean by this *laughing nervously*
I'm assuming you're referring to the homeless dudes... but that's just a shallow judgement on my part.
Unfortunately I've been told there's a guy who's been scaring runners/bikers down by the river... Hear anything about this?0 -
i was just referring to people in general in the area late at night. it's not the only bad part of the city, but it's definitely not a place you would want to be going for a run in after dark.
i haven't heard a story about a guy in particular in the river valley, but when i told my friend i was running there she said she would never run there alone even during the day because she's heard stories like that.
last time i was in the river valley i came across an area when some homeless people had built a fire and there was a bunch of garbage and aerosol cans. pretty sad. :frown:0 -
Yea, I was told the same thing 2 weeks ago from a coworker when I told her that I decided to go over High Level and come back around River Valley. She told me not to go alone, although I'm one those prideful, fearless chicks and just kind of brushed it off lol
I live Downtown though, so I see the good, the bad, and the ugly of homeless people haha0 -
reality is you could get attacked at anytime, anywhere. i am not one of those people that expects the worst all the time and avoids those situations. it's light out till 10pm so there's plenty of daylight to run in and the times i've been running in the river valley there have always been tons of people around. i feel safe there.0

It's true! When I ran by the RV it was noonish, so I wasn't worried at all! And it's not like nobody knew where I was.0
