HELLO ALL! So I know this is kind of a weird thread, but after all, when I started this group, I did say it was for anything and everything- all types of support! :flowerforyou:
Soooooo, most of you already know this, but for those of you who don't, I have been interviewing with Lululemon Athletica for an upper management high level Regional Position! Now, back in the day I had vowed to never get back into retail (back in my early 20s, I managed stores like Charlotte Russe and Victoria's Secret) for many reasons.
However, when this position presented itself, with this particular company, it was as if it was "meant to be." I have been working at yoga studios around the Phoenix Valley on and off for a few years and while they are fun, my passion and have taught me a lot, they aren't super lucrative. Well, the time has come in which I need a job that is lucrative so that I can work towards my dreams of opening my own studio and create my own fitness program and well- get it all going!
ENTER- THIS JOB! So, I applied, heard back in about 1 week, had a phone interview, was immediately passed through to the next round and was told I would be contacted in about a week. Well, THREE hours later I was contacted and asked about meeting the following week (so this week) and I said yes.
I heard from her this afternoon and we are set up for meeting at 4:30 PM MST
:flowerforyou: So PLEASE, if you can, send me your positive thoughts/prayers/loving kind energy/friendly support/ and just general good feelings as I do believe prayer/energy/goodness changes things! I feel like this job is ALREADY mine, but still- we are here to support one another and so I am asking! :flowerforyou:
In addition: if there is ever ANYTHING you need pray/love for from family, hard situations, weight related issues, job issues, hard stresses, health concerns- PLEASE FEEL FREE TO WRITE IN HERE TOO!!!!
Much love and many blessings to you all! K!M

Kim, I worked in management in retail in my 20's so I totally get what you are saying.
They seemed very interested in you. Let your personality and your spunk and drive in life lead the way! Said a prayer for you. Let us know how it went!0 -
First, I'm so happy for you! I have a good feeling that you're right - that this job is already yours - and I will send you lots of good vibes! I'm lookign forward to celebrating with you when you announce that they offered and you accepted!
Since you opened a forum up - I have a request of my own:
I am generally a very optimistic, positive person. I often have great intuition and awesome manifesting abilities. Right now, that seems to be tested. I used to love my job, so it's strange to say that I feel like I've outgrown it. I've been looking for other options for months, but nothing seems "right". I've learned not to jump "from the skillet to the frying pan", so to speak. Plus, there are things about my current job that are appealing and comfortable, so it's easy to convince myself to stay. I just feel it isn't "right" any more. I can't fully articulate why. It's time for a move, but it needs to be to the right thing. And I have no idea what that is. No matter how much I tell myself (with my mind) that it's okay to stay, my body is telling a different story and resisting with it's entire being. I feel like I need to listen and act. But I don't know what action to take! Help!! Prayers / energy / love / happy thoughts for my clarity would be much appreciated. So much thanks! :flowerforyou:0 -

Thanks all! SO APPRECIATIVE! AND PUMPED!
And Smiles- YOU KNOW I GOT YOUR BACK AND BELIEVE IN YOU AND ALL THAT IS ABOUT TO BECOME!0 -
Smiles and Kim I have been thinking about you and your situations for the better part of the last two days. My positive thoughts and prayers are with you. I am in a similar situation job wise. I quit what was the "almost perfect" job (for my family) back in November to be a stay at home mom. I love being a stay at home mom and want to continue.... BUT..... Money is tight, tighter than I am comfortable with. I know that it will get better but until then I need to find something. I don't have a lot of options; I don't have a college degree (working on that), my hubby sleeps through everything including a fire alarm so 3rd shift is not an option, and daycare is very expensive (I have two children both of whom are considered infants, price wise).
I have been looking for work from home positions and most of them are fakes. The next best option I can think of is working somewhere that I can take the kids with. A daycare center that is looking for part-time help would be awesome. Unfortunatly there is nothing open right now. I have contacted my old job but they do not have any positions open that would work with my schedule and daycare options.0 -
Awwww, Abigail! Thanks for thinking of us! I will be thinking of you too! Man, you should see about working the front desk at a gym or something! They usually have daycares/kid care programs! Most of them are only feet away from the front desk too and of course you can watch everything form the monitors, etc... I hope you find something!
Well all- the interview went well and I think we had great vibes!!!! I am through to the next round which means meeting more people and doing yoga with them, so I'm all ready! One day at a time, so continue to think of me and send me good vibes and love!
Hope you are all having a wonderful day!!!!0 -

I am interviewing at Lululemon a high end retail/yoga/fitness chain in which they also do charity work, have yoga events and of course do yoga in their stores for free, for the community! I would be a regional manager overseeing many different stores and help with picking where to put new ones! ALso, there is travel, a great discount, awesome leadership training and really- Just something great to be a part of! It would bring me a step closer to achieving my dreams of opening my own studio too! :Di WILL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED!
Keep the thoughts coming!0
