Inducing period?

Have any of you induced your period naturally?? What did you do? Did it work?
I went off the pill last summer after 4 years on the pill and have yet to get my period so I was wanting to try natural ways to induce it. I read that parsley tea is supposed to be really good for it.
I do plan on going to a doctor, only thing is that I have to find a new doctor first...
