We beat our Super Mario game finally!

So this is totally lame, but there's a game for the Wii called New Super Mario Brothers that came out a few years ago. My BF and I played it together when it first came out (and we got the special edition red Wii) and we got to the final boss and COULD NOT BEAT IT! We tried 100s and 100s of times but couldnt get it done. We tried playing it again a few months ago because we never beat it and we were so out of practice that a few days ago we decided to replay some old levels to get our groove back. Anyways...we finally beat it yesterday. It's a battle vs. Bowser where you go through this side scrolling maze that is REALLY hard to get the timing right...and I got to the end at last! We were watching Star Wars episode IV right before playing, and I told him I felt like Luke when he disables his targeting computer and uses the force to guide the shot into the Death Star...I literally just stopped panicking and let myself go and somehow all of the timing worked out right. His character (Luigi) had also died so I had to do it on my own at the end.

Anyways, that is probably the most dorky thing I have ever said in my entire adult life. But I figured this is the best place to share

I felt the same way when I beat it myself a few months ago!! My 6 year old was watching and we were both on pins and needles for the entire afternoon and she was more excited than me when I beat him! She talks about it to this day! Congrats!
