Day 4: no running, no walking, no bike ride
    - BUT - I did go kayaking for over an hour! (good, even though it wasn't part of my 31 Miles in July goal)

Day 5: I did my 1 mile walk at work (my goal is to do it 4 days a week at work)

I did not run today. I've only run 2 miles this week. I have to run 5 more miles before Saturday night. It's hard being a single mom and going running. I'm not going to pay a babysitter to watch my kids while I run for 30 minutes. And by the time I get off work some days, drive in traffic, and get to my neighborhood, it's time to pick up the kids from school.

I'm going to try to leave work early tomorrow and go for a quick run. But only a REALLY quick one, like a mile.

My kids are leaving for 2 weeks at grandma's house, and I'll have PLENTY of time to run and catch up my miles while they're gone. I want to spend as much time with them before they leave on Saturday.

If I don't meet my week 1 goals, I'll make up for it in week 2 and 3. Maybe I'll give myself penalty goals.

    Week 1 Goal Reminder:
Walk 4 miles (one mile afternoon walks at work 4/5 days)
Run/Jog 7 miles (average 1 mile per day)
Ride A Bike (any miles, just get on the bike and ride somewhere)

WooHoo! My kids asked to go to the park. Even though it was late, dinner time, and a school night, I said YES. And I got to run a mile, stretch, and play basketball with them. Totally going to meet my goals for the week.

    July 5:
    Run total = 3 miles
Walk Total = 4 miles (goal met...kinda. I went to the fair on Monday, claiming a mile for that, walked a mile at work on Tuesday and about a mile afterwards, + a mile today = 4)
Bike Ride = 0 - Planning on Saturday afternoon

Still on a little vacation. Got to walk around Clear Lake in Waseca, MN. It is 6 miles around. Beautiful walk. Kinda muggy but still a nice walk.

Great job all. Lookin' Good :)

:grumble: 1.3 Miles but mostly walking. I have some wicked shin splints. I'll probably be biking all weekend instead of running
