How do you know you are in ketosis?

Hi everyone,
I have been getting great results with P90x, but I'd like to lower my body fat. I have been keeping my carbs below 100g/day for about a week now. Net of fiber, that number would probably be well below 50, which I understand causes ketosis. How do you know you are in ketosis, and is netting fiber against carbs a valid calculation?

I've read one way is that your breath starts to stink (seriously). I think you can also get some sort of pee test, maybe ask a pharmacist?
I'm not entirely convinced super low carb + a rigorous workout routine is ideal though. Insanity's nutrition guide explicitly says don't do low carb, your body is going to want/need some as fuel. Have you considered just removing processed and refined grains?0 -
No. Get ketone strips. You use them like an at home drug test. They are accurate. Google them and you will find them.0
