Well I've been walking trying to get my scale moving in the right direction, and it is working
got into my favorite pair of jeans, and there not strechy ones either. no more strechy jeans, they lie!!!!!
then its so hard to get back into real jeans. I rode to day, and it felt great, my legs felt stronger, and so did
my core, So horse people.....get your tennys on and WALK!!!

One of my horses is unfortunately coming back into work from a tendon injury himself, so he's on complete walk (with no rider) for the next month or so anyways. Splendid idea!0

We have a very overweight pony and I was thinking that he needs to be in a program.
I was thinking I should take him walking with me.
Having read this I think it is even a better idea, although I may need to muzzle him as his thoughts of walking are from one blade of grass to another.0 -
Not only do I need to walk but my daughter's horse has gotten fat from lack of exercise. I guess we both need to walk!0

Great advice! I really do need to WALK... just start actually exercising. My roomie calls it "walk to sweat"... he lost 20 lbs doing this without changing his diet (obviously not the ideal but he's a guy who was unwilling to give up beer and cheese, haha).0
