Post 90 Day BR Leaves Me Wanting More

So I've reached the end of the 90 Days, now what? Well, I didn't get the 6 pack I wanted by the end of it, but here's what I did get: motivation to do more. These last 15-20 pounds have not come off after the 90 days. They just keep hanging out and on, taunting me. Instead of throwing up my arms and saying, well it is what it is, I've decided I need to kick it up and implement more cardio to my life now that I have faithfully completed my 90 days doing nothing but Body Revolution.

I thoroughly enjoyed the workouts and I will continue to use the DVDs because I do see results despite what I don't see on the scale. My butt looks smoother (less potholes on the road back there), my thighs looks smaller, my hips appear to be more narrow and my arms have more definition and look less flabby. This program was definitely worth the money and I got what I put into it. Had I put more into it in terms of following the strict diet, perhaps I would see better results. I didn't follow the meal plan but for the first couple of weeks. I just could not find the time or energy to make the food. There are definitely some great recipes that I actually used and my family loved and I will make those dishes again. However, in the essence of time and everyday life, my meals were not day-by-day 90 BR recommended and that's okay. I eat clean most all days, especially during the weekdays. The one thing I elected not to pass up is my wine. I've given up the alcohol two times for almost a year each time in my life and that was for my pregnancies. I know I can easily hang that up but I chose not to. I normally enjoy a glass of wine with my dinner. I don't drink everyday, but I do drink and again, that's my choice. If I gave up the wine for a month, I might see better results. But I'm honest and realistic with myself in terms of my drinking. It's summertime, I have done many social things with friends and family and I have determined when and how much I drink on occasion. Sometimes I made good decisions, sometimes I made poor decisions with the drinking. Nevertheless, I never skipped a workout and if I did, I made it up and doubled it the next day. That's motivation or perhaps my penance. Either way if I played, I paid with an extended workout and I always felt better about me.

I just recently purchased a Specialized bike and I'm getting back into running with my running group again. I'm also looking into kickboxing a few days a week. Body Revolution has inspired me to keep doing more but most of all, keep it fun and interesting so I don't get bored. I encourage the same for everyone here doing the 90 day BR workout. Keep on keeping on with your workouts once you're done with the 90 days. Do something you love and just keep going!

I'm doing BR too. I feel stronger and I can tell certain body parts look better, but I also have not lost any weight. I wonder if it's because of 1) not enough cardio and 2) not using heavy enough weights. I mean, I'm sweating my butt off and according to my HRM I'm burning at least 300 calories each workout, but apparently that's not enough to get the scale to budge.

I finished BR about 3 weeks ago but am still doing some of the workouts in the morning just switching up the days and levels. I noticed some changes in my body as well. Nicer biceps, more toned back, smoother stomach altho i'm still waiting for my six pack to pop out. I didn't follow the diet as it just wasn't 100% for me. I eat clean and cook healthy meals so i didn't think not following her diet would affect anything. I didn't lose much weight either but what i did lose i'm happy with and hopefully will continue to lose a little more. I also didn't do the cardio as much as she recommended but i still did my running and other forms of cardio while doing BR. Congrats to you for all you accomplished with BR and to your continued weight loss!!
