Week 3 Challenge

Fact: 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat

Challenge: Burn 3500 calories a week, lose about 1 pound (give or take for water retention, sodium intake and muscle mass)

    I acceop great challenge burned over a 1000 calories today! Rest of the week will be smaller burns!

    today wed 11th july I done 1 hour of rowing = 512 cals eeeek .....

    id need to do about 6 more hours to reach 3500 cals burned :O it makes me appreciate how easy it is to gain weight and how difficult it is to lose again :)

    thurs 12th 532 cals burned

    512 with 60 mins rowing
    10 with 1 min sit ups
    10 with 1 min total girly press ups

    so my total so far is 1044 :D

    800 so far! Just wondering, would eating back the calories negate the total weekly burn? I'm still keeping a net of 1550(ish) per day...

    another 602 today (fri 13th)

    10cals for 1 min girly Push-ups
    512cals for 60 mins Rowing
    10cals for1 min Sit-ups
    59cals for 12 mins Gardening
    11cals for 1 min Stairs

    total over 3 days --- 1646 :)

    Burnt 1026 calories this week on Wednesday and Thursday, well on my way and I am really pleased with that

    Ive done a total of 2315 cals burned from wed 11th - sat 14th :)

    today sat 14th Ive done a long slow walk, a 5KM run and aerobics

    If you burn 3500 calories in a week and in that same week eat 3500 calories from exercise then you will stay right about the same. Weight gain comes from eating an additional 3500 calories (per pound) than what you are normally taking in, minus the exercise. Exercise calories that are consumed will allow you to maintain your weight for the most part. :) Hope this helps!

    Total to date: 2273, better get moving over the next couple of days, tackle that blasted hill again.... :-)

    Ive done nothing on the 15th or 16th

    so Im still sitting at 2315 cals burned since the 11th :)
