Fact: 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat
Challenge: Burn 3500 calories a week, lose about 1 pound (give or take for water retention, sodium intake and muscle mass)

I acceop great challenge burned over a 1000 calories today! Rest of the week will be smaller burns!0

today wed 11th july I done 1 hour of rowing = 512 cals eeeek .....
id need to do about 6 more hours to reach 3500 cals burned :O it makes me appreciate how easy it is to gain weight and how difficult it is to lose again

thurs 12th 532 cals burned
512 with 60 mins rowing
10 with 1 min sit ups
10 with 1 min total girly press ups
so my total so far is 10440 -

Burnt 1026 calories this week on Wednesday and Thursday, well on my way and I am really pleased with that0

If you burn 3500 calories in a week and in that same week eat 3500 calories from exercise then you will stay right about the same. Weight gain comes from eating an additional 3500 calories (per pound) than what you are normally taking in, minus the exercise. Exercise calories that are consumed will allow you to maintain your weight for the most part. Hope this helps!0 -
