Need motivated mommy friends! :)

Hi, I'm Courtney. I just had my first baby three months ago. I am trying very hard to lose weight (I have lost all my baby weight though, yay!). I need some mommy friends to help encourage me, because it is very hard, especially when your husband supports you in words, but not in food choices! Feel free to add me, ladies!

    my husband use to be very "meat and potaotes, eat what I want, life's too short to diet". I brought home some documentaries on food for the kids to watch (part of a school lesson) and my hubby watched them. I think those and his declining health have pushed him into making better choices and supporting the whole family making a healthy change.
    some of the videos we watched were Food Inc, Fork Over Knives, and Supersize Me.

    My husband eats reasonably but he does like treats so we always have stuff around the house. For the most part I can ignore them. I'd like to blame that for having food to binge on but really if I want to binge, I buy it and he never sees it.

    I'm the one that cooks so for the most part I do have control. I have my core meals that both of us eat. I still make less healthy meals but not that often. Some are also still healthy but high calorie. Then I decide if I'll eat it or eat healthier leftovers. I usually eat it the first night but the next night eat other leftovers . He has changed over time and No longer wants things like sausage or hot dogs.

    I just had #6 in March. Didn't have any problems losing the weight with the first three, but got stuck with the twins. I still have 60 to lose. feel free to add me.

    Hi, I'm a first time mom with a 4 month old baby. I lost 50 lbs in 2010-2011, but then gained it all back with the baby and none of it has left! And I wanted to lose 50 more back then, so now I am 100 lbs in the hole. :(
    I am breastfeeding, so I'm trying to make healthier choices and now using MFP to track portions/calories. My hubby is also a big treats guy, and he loves things like burgers and fast food. It's a challenge to cook healthy dinners with a baby, but we're working on it! Feel free to add me!

    Hey there moms... My son is almost 9 months old and I have been working my tail off to lose weight. I've been using MFP, Fitbit, eating very carefully and exercising a lot. While I have lost all the baby weight at this point, I was at my heaviest when I got pregnant (210). So I have a ways to go still and I am plodding along.

    I'm doing pretty well and my husband is really supportive but some days are just hard. Today I saw a bunch of pictures of myself that just made me so sad at how I looked. How did I pack on all those pounds? ugh. That's when i just go snuggle with my baby boy, pet the dog, or ask for a hug.

    Anyway, we are planning to try for #2 in the near future, so I know there is only so much weight I can realistically lose before I am pregnant again. I am just trying to accept where I am and do the best I can.

    hi mom of 2 here. I have a 18 mo and a 3 mo. I am trying to lose the weight i gained before getting pregnant with my kids. I am a nursing student and have the summer off from school so I am trying to use the time to focus on losing weight and getting in shape. I lost the 34 lbs i gained with this last pregnancy plus 8 more lbs. I still have about 15 lbs to lose.
