I've been in serious overdrive for a while now so I took a weekend to regroup and chill out. I had met up with two guys for quick dates from OK Cupid (just got on last week) and they were awesome, healthy, and not narcissists (hahaha) so that was fun, BUT I realized I just am not in the place to date. I'm still keeping my heart and mind open because if something happens I wouldn't shut the door. It just feels like work and overwhelming to keep up with online dating so I know it's just poor timing for me to commit to right now.
Remember only 1 in 5 relationships start online...bahahaha. Silly commercial...left out the "only" in the advertisement.
So, after some swimming with my little guy yesterday I redid my MFP diary, established some new goals for myself, and started calorie cycling to try to break the plateau I'm in. I'm excited. :bigsmile:

Friday volleyball was canceled due to rain so I spent the night at home. On saturday I met up with a friend and saw Magic Mike. Sunday I spent the day at the softball field where I was hit by a line drive to the calf which resulted in the new picture. That picture was within 10 mins of being hit, now it is about 2 times as big and all red. I will not be working out much this week as I can barely walk.
So that's what it takes to you to show a little leg. :laugh: Hope you're back on your feet working out again soon.0 -
Friday - went out with my roomie and friends, got drunk, shoveled a big plate of nachos, and totalled owned these two guys at pool while talking the most dirty smack I've ever talked.
Saturday - fishing and doggy birthday party with Steve, and we drank together and had wonderful bedroom fun time that night
Sunday - woke up, Steve made us breakfast (biscuits and gravy YEEEAH), then we went fishing, then went grocery shopping together (aww) and I made a German dish that I've been craving for about a year-- Rouladen with blaukraut
I'm sad it's Monday.0 -

47 year old dude from Friday did not get another date on Saturday. He was OLD. Nice... but one foot in the grave.
Worked out like a badass on Saturday and just vegged. Had some fun conversations with a couple MFP friends... Love these! We have the most interesting group of people on here!
Sunday - I did go out with stalker dude... and he's not that bad. However, as shallow as this is, I'm not sure I'm attracted. He's nice so I'll probably go out one more time. I don't know what I'm looking for but I think I'll know it when I see it... and I just don't see it with this guy. Remember Rex in Toy Story? Freakishly short arms? Yeah..... this guy's arms and hands are just short and small.. .I'm a HUGE arm girl. Love big, strong arms, so I'm not sure this is going to work for me.... yeah, I know... I'm lame :grumble:

I had to laugh at this... I look first at men's forearms in particular. No idea why, but my friends tease me!
Friday and Saturday were tame for me. Shopping with a friend for formal night on the cruise we're taking in just over 3 weeks, w00t!! Dinner in with pizza, redbox, and my dog!
Sunday was for chores, ugh, but I got a lot done! also talked with the guy on POF from work... SOOOOO, my Monday plans look better than my weekend, haha. Planning drinks tonight at this really nice restaurant/ bar... excited!!:smooched:0 -
I just remembered that when we were at softball one of the guys phone was blowing up with texts. We of course made fun of him for being "in demand" and he complained about the girl, I guess he recently started seeing this one, and the amount of texts she was sending. He just stopped replying and when he checked she had only sent 2 more which to me was acceptable. But my thought was I could have easily been that girl I just made fun of. I tend to have text convos with people, friends, potiental boyfriends, and boy friends that unless you say "I have to go" or stop responding I would think you were open to getting more.0

I totally pay attention to arms too. There is something sexy and manly about strong forearms.

Texting with boys is annoying. I don't think people should have that constant contact with each other .. lol. It is too easy to get sick of people.. or maybe that is just me. Not sure.
It is hard to tell sometimes how people are meaning something by text and it is too easy to just ignore someone and hurt their feelings.
Sometimes it can be fun to text dirty stuff etc .. but if you know someone is at a softball game, or somewhere .. for the love of God .. quit texting them!! Let them be! lol.0 -

I was supposed to have a wonderful second date on Friday (first date was last Friday). Unfortunately I received court papers that said I lost my custody case and my two wonderful teenage boys (ages almost 15 & 16) get to move to Georgia with their dad, which is what they wanted but I was fighting to keep them in NH. Apparently the judge decided they are old enough to have a say at this point in their life.
That being said, I still went out to a nice dinner and cuddled on the couch watching a movie, and then on Saturday we went out and watched the movie Ted (so funny) .... it was good to laugh (which was his point of taking me there) ...
In theory I should have had two really good weekends but last weekends great first date was over shadowed by my the passing of my Aunt and this weekend was over shadowed by my emotions over my kids ..... theres always hope for next weekend, I am cooking him dinner on Friday night 0 -

I am so glad it sounds like you all had a great weekend.
Mine - uneventful. Had a medical procedure Friday, cleaned out and texted the guy I am seeing. Over did it cleaning, was in pain Saturday through today. Should have taken today off.
Just waiting until the 27th when I get to go camping again!0 -
Had my date on Saturday night with the model back from Cali... well it went pretty good, but she moves to Houston in 2 weeks so I don't see that going far.
BBQ- Sunday night at my brothers. Yesterday I spent too much money on Softball gear, then decided I had to start kicking *kitten* again with workouts and tore up some P90X, and cooked a bunch of healthy food for the week.0 -
Went out on Friday with my female and male best friend and FWB we had a blast until I went to drop my friends off. Then I got pulled over for No tag light...lol I didnt even know I had a tag light but hey the cop let me go with no ticket or warning after passing a sobriety test (told you guys I don't drink and drive)... So then FWB and I went to the after hours bar and then breakfast at 6 am lol....
Saturday I went out with my sister my Female and male BF and some of my band boys. Had a blast dancing and singing. Actually got complimented by my band boys on my vioice lol___shocking :noway: then we were home nice and early at 4 am lol
Sunday I lazed around and watch TV and did laundry. My phone started blowing up at 230 am cause power plant wanted to know what I was doing (hmmm). I was passed out so I didnt respond til the morning..
Monday spent all day texting with power plant and MR. Nice guy. Mr. Nice guy want a rematch in pool when he gets back in town lol(wooped his *kitten* the last time) and the winner get a massage from the loser lol... Went out with a few of my friends one of which has a baby due in the next 3 weeks or so he was out getting one last good night out. FWB came out and got trashed if you guys have never had a Freddy Kruger DONT lol those things are deadly .... I busted my *kitten* (stone cold sober) getting out of the DJ booth cause of all the rain down here and bruised the whole inside of my Bicep where I caught myself on the lock for the DJ booth. I look like someone took a 2x4 to my arm lol.. Took away FWB keys cause he was trashed and drove him to my house. Ended up til 430 am and was up at 9 am to go to work...... And the saga continues lol0 -
