Hey everyone, we are going to continue the burn 3500 calories this week challenge! Remember 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat! Gives you a whole new perspective about losing weight when you realize how many calories you need to burn to just lose 1 pound! Now what this means is a person must consume 3500 MORE calories than what there daily allowance is to gain 1 pound, so that means if your daily allowance is 1550 then you would have to consume at least 5050 calories in one day to gain 1 pound or 35350 calories in a week to gain 7 pounds in a week.
If you burn 3500 calories a week but you eat back all of your calories, 3500 calories than you will usually maintain your weight for that week. Adding to this challenge, I challenge you guys, if you have not done so yet, to take a picture of yourself in your workout clothes or a bathing suit and keep it. In October we will take another picture picture to compare. If you love your results than please feel free to post them here as we end in October. Either way, YOU having the pictures will be a HUGE encouragement to yourself!
Blessings on this!
