My first weekend away from the bf!

I'm going to Houston this weekend to meet and train with my Tough Mudder team which I'm super excited about! But I'm also a tiny bit bummed because weekends are normally spent with Steve. Since we both have such busy schedules on weekdays, we normally don't see each other too often until the weekend.

I know I'll have a blast, and I'll be back late Sunday afternoon and can see him then, but I'm gonna miss him, lol.

Oh well.. at least it'll give him a chance to miss me too, right? Lol..

    You'll survive. But yes, seeing each other regularly is important in keeping a relationship up.

    I've often traveled for work, and I find that mini-trips make you appreciate each other more (less chance of taking for granted) and the reunions are so much fun ;-)

    Haha, he's so easy going I really doubt he will care that much. He might miss me a tiny bit, but we'll see. :P

    I can see myself around the 4-mile mark of our run-- "Hang on guys, I need to send my bf a dirty text!"
