I have just started herbalife yesterday. So far love the shakes. I have decided not to weight or measure myself for about 2 weeks. Any tips from those who have been doing it for some time. Right now my plan is to do 2 shakes a day and then once I lose the weight I want about 35 lbs to go to one shake a day. Then eventually go off of them. I assume as long as I stay in my calories after I go off of them that I can maintain

Nice to have you with us. I do 2 shakes a day and 2 teas a day. It works for me. Marne

    Hi and welcome!!
I have A LOT to lose but my husband and I have both had a great deal of success with Herbalife. We each have a shake with the protein drink mix added in for breakfast and lunch. It gives us 24 grams of protein for each meal just with the shakes but we still have fruits, veggies, low fat dairy or another protein with breakfast and lunch. If you don't use the protein drink mix, it is something to look into. We have several snacks throughout the day, too. We also take the tea and the aloe mango concentrate. For dinner, we have a salad every night, a big side of veggies and lean meat.

I don't believe in netting under 1200 calories because I know that I would never be able to maintain that few of calories for the rest of my life. I eat close to my BMR. You can find yours by looking under the "tools" tab on your home page.

My husband and I have been on it since March 10 and love it. Once we get to our goal weight, we've already talked that we will do just one shake for a meal. Could we maintain without the shakes? Absolutely! But we both love the taste, how much they fill us up, and how quick they are to make.

I'm sending you a friend request. My diary is open to my MFP friends so you can see what my days look like. :flowerforyou:
