New to group

Options
Hello, I am new to the group and want to introduce myself. I was diagnosed with PCOS in high school (10 years ago) and have been fighting the weight gain and lack of information since. The last 2 years my husband and I have been TTC and have had no luck (depressing). My gyno after the last round of clomid said my charts were beautiful and didn't understand why I wasn't pregnant and suggested I see a specialist for further testing/fertility treatments. I told my husband that I want to try and lose some weight first and see if that will help as much as everyone thinks it will. So here I am hoping to find friends and support from other women like me (frustrated with their bodies!).

Hi! I can totally relate to your struggles. I am on year 7 of ttc to conceive with pcos. If your hubby hasn't been tested I would really push to have it done. We thought our troubles with conceiving were because of pcos but after years of struggling we learned my husband also had some fertility issues. During the last year we have had 4 failed fertility treatments and have been told by my doctor that it was most likely caused by my weight. That is why I joined MFP, to lose the weight to give IVF the best chance of working for us. I don't know how well you are dealing with your troubles conceiving but if you are interested I belong to an AMAZING online support group. The ladies there have been were I have and understand what I am going through, they are there for support and to help with all of my questions. Message me if you would like more info.

Wishing lots of success at losing the weight and becoming a mommy!
