Tommorow's the big day, I'm nervous. I'm hoping to finally reach ONEDERLAND and have been sabotaging myself all week it seems. Not the best eating habits, replacing meals with junk, etc. I really hope to make it tomorrow morning but it's also measure day and know that will change since it's 4 weeks worth of work.

How's everyone else feeling? Was this week a challenge, do you feel successful?

I plan to be grateful no matter what.

Well didn't make it to ONEDERLAND like I hoped, actually gained .4lbs. Not much but enough to motivate me to re-evaluate. May be time to change up or add some new activity/exercise. Trying to look at this as a positive thing since I really can't afford the luxury of negitivity. I plan to especially work on my attitude, think I've got a little complacent and I'm nowhere near the end of this journey so will definitely work on my strategy.

I'm so glad to be a part of this challenge with this great group and appreciate all of the support.. Nice to feel like part of a team :)

Hey guys! Well, it was a mixed week. Started off rough, then got back on the exercise wagon (with still some excess eating). I've lost what I gained last week, so it's a victory of sorts.

I just have to keep with the exercising, and I have to stay very aware of what I'm eating and WHY.

I truly believe that this is a lifestyle change and made up of a lot of small choices. I'm a work in progress, but it's going okay right now!

    Let's do this, people!!!!!!

No loss for me this week. But I have been on a short holiday so that's to be expected. I'm going to try really hard this week and up my exercise so hopefully will catch up next week.

I lost 4.5 this week. I think I am finally getting my head back on about weight loss. I injured back in Feb and gained almost 20 lbs since then. I am working to get that 20 back off. and lose my last 5. This week I thought about it in terms of 100% effort. I know that I have to give it my all to lose. eating is 75% of the battle for me, and exercise is the other 25%. This has helped in terms of the "oh I already blew it for today, I'll just worry about it tomorrow" mentality. I know that if I just keep eating I am throwing all my effort away. I think of it as for every 100 cals over my daily goal is decreasing my effort by 10%. So if I keep eating I just keep reducing my effort. and I will get a low % for the day. I can't lose weight if I don't put the effort into it.

My grade for the week was an 84%. Next week I want a higher percentage :)

Selig, I know it is a rough result on a week that you thought went well, but the scale is only one small part of our journey. How are your clothes fitting? What are your hormones up to? Hang in there, you can only control what you do in terms of your food and exercise, the scale operates in sometimes uncontrollable ways, but only short term. So many times in my life I have used the weight gain at the end of a "good" week to say what's the use and stop trying. I am stopping that cycle. I know you won't fall into that trap. Stay positive.
I weigh in on Monday and every Sunday I worry that it might be a "good week" and a "bad" scale result. So Sundays, I try to focus on NSV's to get ready for whatever the scale says.

thanks so much, i have had so many NSV's in the past 7 weeks even though the scale didnt show it, i wouldnt be so mad if i gain 1 pound or less but 4 that is so much in 1 week but im gonna have to work harder next week. Good bye 2nd week and hello 3rd week.

Well I had a great week for doing my exercise goals, but I had a couple of rough days with the good goals, but still happy I lost 2.2lbs, so I'm really happy with that.

Congrats to those of you with losses this week!! I had what I thought was a great week with 5 trips to the gym and a day on the golf course so I burnt over 3,600 exercise calories this week. I also stayed within my calorie goal every day.....however for most of the week I was up almost 3 lbs. By weigh in today I was back down some but still up 0.5 lbs for the week?? Call it a plateau, muscle, or just my body catching up to me, I am not thrilled with this but I also remain very motivated. It is a new week!! Bring it on and good luck to all this week!!

No weight loss this week. I have some sort of stomach flu I think since Friday. Just now trying to get over it but residual bloating still. Hopefully I am well enough and have enough time to try to burn 500 or more calories everyday this week. Ugh. Congrats to those who did lose this week. I haven't lost but 1 lb netted since June when this started originally. :(

No weight loss this week, ate well, but missed the gym as I've had the flu. Hopefully I will feel better this week and get back into my routine.

The scale did not budge this week, but I am wearing a dress that was too snug a couple of weeks ago, I picked it out so I could focus on my NSV and not use the stuck scale as an excuse to backslide.
CHALLENGE FOLKS we need to get some positive energy to move those scales toward our goals. Lets all pick ONE thing that we can improve upon from last week.
This week I will make sure that I get at least 30g of digestible fiber each and every day, some of which will be in vegetable form.

WHAT WILL YOUR ONE THING TO IMPROVE THIS WEEK?

We can and will do it!

I'm going to get back on track. Exercise once a day for the rest of the week - that's my mini-goal.
